Showtime got a fight the same time and night.

Miguel cotto vs quintana the guy who beat joel julio.

and Margarito vs clottey.

Imma tape the hbo one and Watch the Showtime fights live.

I know the cotto vs quintana is gonna be boring cause quintana is gonna run circles...and the margarito fight might be interesting this is a big test for both clottey and antonio.

I dont know right now im even thinking of watching winky vs ike for some reason lol....just cause I like ike quartey.

How does that make me a fairweather fan?...... Lacy was never a favorite of mine. I liked the guy. I thought he was good.

I still pull for him. I'm just not interested in THIS fight. Who's that guy he's fighting?

If you don't understand why I'm far more interested in the Clottey(my 2nd favorite at the moment) and Margy..... something's wrong....

i know why you want that fight because you want clottey to beat up margarito...but before you mentioned you were a fan of jeff lacy...and then allan green.

Clottey can get inside and have an advantage.... i hope he just boxes dude though.

I still like Allan G. a lot but missed his last 2 fights....I'll be talking about him and lacy more once they actually get big fights going. As of now... there's not much to talk about.

Margarito is a hypocrite. He ducked Clottey for the longest, and he continues to duck Paul Williams as well. He talks a lot of shit about everyone avoiding him because he's a threat....yet...he avoids everyone that's a threat to him as well.
I was shocked when he finally took the Clottey fight, but he did it after Clottey looked unimpressive in a fight.......

but Clottey probably didn't train hard for that one. This dude shows up when he's the 'underdog' and he loves training.... i don't think Margy is hungry enough to beat Clottey. Simple as that. Clottey I could see pulling a Mike Tyson ear biting incident before walking out of there losing.....he's doing it for Ghana. That's what he keeps talking about... "bringing the belt to ghana"...."winning for ghana". Margy has been overhyped by his own people and his fans...... he looks bad sparring also.

I think it's a dangerous fight for Margarito, and I think he thinks so too. He's too slow and swings too wide to be in there with a guy much faster and with a good bit of power to be a feisty smaller guy.

Vish - Quintana doesn't box circles a la Mayweather.

I've seen about 5 fights of his, and in three of them i watched recently, he throws about 70-90 punches were round, and lands 40+ %

Clottey will lose a UD or a late KO win for Tony. With Tony bleeding from a Clottey headbutt somewhere.

So yeah, i'm a big winky fan, but Showtime EASY.

Rippy- I dont think clottey will pull this one off...he claims he trained like an animal for this fight running up hills with a weighted vest and worked on his endurance but we will see...I think clottey might show something similar to his last fight not impressive...I remember you telling us to watch clottey for so long but then when we got a glimpse of him it was a huge let down.

Syza koza- I was going off his last fight with the power puncher joel julio...quintana schooled him but the fight wasnt impressive to me only because quintana is not a Finisher...I tend to like fighters who sieze the moment...he did impressively out box and put on a great showing.

Right now I am pissed....I wanna watch both! but fights are best watched live...so Im leaning towards the cotto fight....but my pops enjoys analyzing winky wrights fights and its fun rooting for the other guy when my dad takes winkys side.

I have another 4 fights from him and it's four ko's, all against good rated guys and he was the underdog in 2 of them if i remember. If he gets Cotto hurt, he'll go in for the kill, i believe. Until then he'll stay on the outside and try to dominate.

clottey looked impressive against a tall skinny man...with a weak chin.

margarito is durable as clottey says slow but durable...margarito will possibly weigh in 165 for this fight or more.

here is clotteys other interview he said MARGARITO is ordinary! lets see if he can back up his words...it would suck to lose to a sloth.

watch it he says he is bigger then mayweather jr and he can beat him...he also said mayweather jr is smaller then margarito thats why floyd is scared.

I watch margarito's vids and highlights.....its hard for me to even sit through them. He's fighting nobodies and getting tagged shitloads and looks so slow it bores the hell out of me.

I don't know how he ever got hype. He's got power.... but he's so slow that it's not going to matter once he gets up with the big boys.

possibly the slowest welterweight i've ever seen.
