Jacksonville Jaguars- biggest wr crop in the league

I'm sorry for all you undersized guys but if you're 6'2" you're probably not even going to make on the roster. I mean these niggas give cornerbacks a tough time.
Their might be one T.O. or Randy Moss but Jaguars have a great reputation.
Seen all their wide receivers are tall, musclar, and thick. They will then meet your prototype. The nigga Reggie Williams, Matt Jones, and Ernest Wilford are hard enough to tackle. I love Chad Owens on special teams even though he's undersized (KR) . I mean QB Byron Leftwich has some big targets out there.

Their receivers are big, but that's not necessarily a good thing. I think you definitely need at least one receiver that is big and gives the DBs matchup problems, but with the current rules the NFL has in place, smaller receiver that are quick are actually more valuable.

I feel you to a certain point but those three niggas give defenses trouble regardless. I mean the Jags have a decent running game and the wide receivers are beyond average. My thing is if you're under 6'2" you might be screwed but taller you will fit the system. I mean those are big niggas and they are very physical!!! I mean if you're short you can be elusive but that isn't going work on every defense with these schemes. I like the Jags because their wrs are generally bigger. no hard feelings.

The problem with their guys is their not necessarily fast. Even though Matt Jones is blazing fast (4.4). So they are not completely prototypical, but close enough. You can gameplan against speed at the WR, but not height. So I do think that height is more of an asset then speed at WR.

One year does not mean anything. Understand that. He was the best for one year. Do you know that before that, Mushin Muhamed was top 3 in the significant categories for recievers (TD's, yards, receptions)? He's still a very good reciever, but he was also the best for one year. But one year does not mean anything.

Steve Smith is not the best right now. He's not even the best in the NFC. He's not even the best little guy right now. Thats how important one year is.

And one more thing- Do you think that if by some means the Panthers had the ability to make steve Smith 6'3" with all of his same skills they would?

Steve Smith's career- (6th season)
278 receptions, 23 TD's

Terrell Owens career- (11th season)
730 receptions, 102 TD's

Randy Moss's career- (9th season)
641 receptions, 99 TD's

Okay, say Smith averaged 12 Td's for the next 6 seasons (he won't), he still would have one season on Owens and not as many touchdowns. Moss averages 11 a year, T.O. 9, and Smith almost a whopping 4. And Moss and especially T.O. don't show any signs of dropping off yet. So read em and weap, the stats don't lie. HE AIN'T THE BEST.

Randy Moss hasn't been worth a shit for 2 seasons.

Terrell Owens fucks his teams over more than he helps.

Steve Smith makes the panthers superbowl contenders....without him...well, surely you've seen what they look like.

Marvin Harrison is great. But again, Marvin Harrison can't create like Smith. marvin Runs and catches balls. You'll never see anything more elusive from him....just run...get open...catch. That's his job, but smith does more than that.

Randy Moss can't run anything but a deep route. That's why he's fucking worthless.

Steve Smith isn't in some dream offense either like Harrison. He's the sole target. Just now he's got Johnson, but we haven't seen that yet.

As of today. TODAY. He's the best in the league.

The only other reciever giving him a run for it as of the moment is Chad Johnson.

How about we put all of the off-field stuff aside, and look at what really matters. What is that? Stats.

You can't argue with that.

Marvin Harrison's numbers are even better than T.O. and Moss. I just give those guys the nod, especially T.O. because Harrison has had Manning playing at a HOF level for all but two of his years in the league. Give either Moss or T.O. that benefit, and the numbers would be astronomical.
