^^ Doubt it, considering WWE owns all rights to ECW products - I find it interesting that he did the same challenge Angle did when he hopped to ECW. The whole "Six sided, four sided, no matter where you work" bit.

It's a huge cash cow for both companies if they do an interpromotional PPV - and actually do it right. Imagine it, Low Ki v. RVD, Rhyno V. Big Show, etc, hell, the possibilities are completely endless.

Whether or not they were the real titles, Rhino does/did have the real titles in his possession. Legally, I'd doubt it if WWE could do shit about it - and even if they could I doubt they're going to take Rhino to small claims court lol.

im suprised at who ever is in control of tna even allowin wwe's name be mention.. there will definly be some reprocautions.. cuz you dont cross the boss. if they do a tna vs wwe thing.. road dogg and billgun will prolly turn coat, and join dx.. do i got somethin here..? lol.. if xpac joins the james gang.. i think i hit the nail in the coffin ..mayb tna and wwe are workin together.. wouldnt be suprised vince and cornet are boys..

Vince fired Cornette, so I doubt they're that close. Did they actually show the belts when he burned them? I wouldn't think they could actually show another company's belts on TV. When Flair had the NWA World Title on WWF TV, I thought they had to blur it out. Unless that was because Flair ended up having to return the belt and they did it so they could keep the angle going even though they didn't have the actual belt any more.

and

the dudleyz for ECW

I personally think both would be better off in wwe

both have been poorly booked by tna

No Rhino brought them out in a bag, and said he'd take them out of the bag but basically that Vince McMahon would start sicking his lawyers on them. He said ECW is dead, and he's going to do what he should have done a long time ago. Then he went outside and threw the bag in a trash can, squirted some lighter fluid in it, and dropped a match in it, and then kept talking with it flaming behind him.

lol wtf. TNA is the underdog, so it shows guts to be talking about WWE/ECW/Vince McMahon. WWE is a global company, everybody knows it already. The only people it turns away is a percentage of loyal WWE fans who think TNA sucks already, whether they've ever even watched it or not.

Eric Bischoff didn't make WCW the number one company without underhanded tactics.

Plus TNA is basically going after ECW, not RAW or Smackdown. Vince has basically given them an opporutinity to compete with something.

OK, that makes sense. If Vince is willing to go after people on Ebay selling WWE merchandise, there's no question he'd go after Rhino for that. Did WCW get sued for Madusa throwing the WWF Women's title in the garbage on Nitro?

Yeah, the NWA champion would put a $25,000 deposit on the belt when they became champion. When Flair left, they didn't give him the deposit back, so he went on WWF TV with the belt.

Being the bigger promotion didn't mean they were above the law. They might have lost, it's just that they could afford to pay whatever they had to. Plus, they probably would've settled out of court anyway. TNA couldn't afford a lawsuit like that though, they're losing money as it is.

TNA doesn't bring in anywhere near as much revenue as WWE, so they're a lot less profitable. They don't make any money off of tickets other than the occasional house show they put on, since it's free to go to Impact. Their PPV buys and DVD sales aren't anywhere near WWE's either and they're paying good money to Steiner, Jarrett, the Dudleys and the other former WWF/WCW stars. Plus, I doubt they make that much off of advertising since even WWE gets shit for ad money. They're lucky they have a big company backing them or they'd probably be out of business by now. The only reason they were able to sign Sting is because Spike TV paid for part of his contract to help improve ratings.
