Lets look at why ECW probably wont be good

well, as you know ECW contracts are in the mail.. former ECW stars are being asked to come back. for a 1 year contract REPORTED with 2 roll over years.

but first, lets look at the facts..

the dudleyz have a 3 year contract with TNA

raven is under contract with TNA

Shane douglas I believe has issues with the WWE and is currently working for TNA

Spike dudley is employed by TNA

Rhino is under contract to TNA

so who do you have?

sandman.. sabu.. rvd.. mike awesome.. justin credible..

half these guys havent been wrestling.. aside from a few indy dates.

they're all older..

so pretty much to me.. Ill sum up ECW as the OVW with tv time and ppvs.

care to agree?

Raven and Shane Douglas werent at last years either...plus douglas is currently in rehab..

all they are missing is rhyno and dudleyz

WWE can also use Benoit, Misterio, Super Crazy, Psicosis, Lance Storm, Mick Foley, Nunzio, and mixed with younger new guys..

it could possibly work if Heyman is running things..

to me when people think of benoit they think of wcw or wwf

same with mysterio

I hate how they try selling these guys off as ecw talent

its just like if they ever did another wcw show.. i wouldnt want benoit there. he sold out wcw for the wwf and left the wcw title

he's a big baby. he didnt get his way, so he left.

ECW is where Misterio made his american debut..So I can see them using him..

Benoit didn't have the WCW title when he left...He was stripped of the title the night after the PPV on Nitro and then left a little more then a week later...

You can't blame them for leaving a sinking ship though...

It was only a matter of time before Eddie, Benoit, and the rest of the mid-card talent in WCW leave....yes it was a sinking ship, but let's face it...with the dinosaurs getting the main spotlight and attention, WCW did nothing to push these guys when they were at their commercial peak.

ovw; is acualy gettin better.. their hinting at ECW on ovw tv.,, cm punk will probably be ecw talent..and nova aka simon dean... its better to start of fnew then start off where you left off.. im sure their be a hundred+ wrestlers wanting to work with ecw.. and beleive it or not.. contracts are esier to get out of than you think..

If a new booker was coming in and you knew he was going to try to fuck you over, you'd leave too. Plus, WCW gave them the option to leave, it's not like they just walked out on the company.

everybody in the wrestling business wants to be hulk hogan

especially now with the this HOF crap.. everybody is putting in a couple of extra years.. so when theyre retired.. or forced to retire.. because most wrestlers dont get the chance to retire.. they'll have a chance to be on tv again

Eddie and Malenko too. They were really more the types who cared more about being able to put on good matches than just getting paid to do nothing. Getting paid decent money to job might be OK for some people, but if you have the opportunity to eventually possibly main event, why pass that up over some sort of stupid loyalty to a company that never really gave a shit about them anyway? And it worked out for most of them in the end, since both Benoit and Eddie got runs with the title and Malenko has a pretty good post-retirement job as a road agent. Saturn ended up talking to a mop, but three out of four is still pretty good.

Besides, if I stole a guy's wife and I had the choice between working for him or getting a new job, I'd get a new job.

wcw gave him the title for less then 24 hours....david arquette got a longer title reign...so that's what they thought of Benoit...

Vince Russo's reign was longer too. And Benoit didn't even win that match cleanly, and he only beat Sid. In WWE, he beat HHH and HBK, making HHH tap out at Wrestlemania. He then held the belt from Wrestlemania to Summerslam.

Of course a couple of people who have never actually wrestled before would take the money and job without thinking about it. They're going to do whatever they have to to be the best in the business. And since Christian jumped from WWE to TNA, is he a crybaby too? that's like saying the size of the stadium the team plays in, determines whether the team is good.

most people say TNA has the better ppvs.

TNA has a cable show. The WWE has been around much longer.. so of course they're going to have an extra 3 million viewers.

The product is just as good, if not better.

Lets not set standards by the size of an arena or the amount of tickets sold.. but by the quality of wrestling.

and right now, tna is the best wrestling show.

the minor leagues are usually places where they put the players that need to develop and work before they reach the bigger leagues...
