he is on tour with fozzy and is basically taking time off but i dont think he has a contract

he is on tour with fozzy through the end of december and maybe into january..might be doing some acting as well..not sure when he will be back..on those vh1 shows he is on, he is listed as a actor/musician now and not a wrestler anymore

He was recently interviewed on between the ropes.. betweentheropes.com

he said he has no desire to wrestle.. his passion has kind of faded.. but he said if he does decide to come back, it'll be with the wwe.

I just watched him last night on TSN's "Off The Record with Michael Landsberg." They gave him some time for a quick one on one interview, and then they basically had the other guests out there and they just talked about sports.

Landsberg was talking about all the wrestlers that had the same operations on their necks and stuff, and Jericho said that's part of the reason he's gone right now. He feels he's one of the lucky ones, who has taken risks in the ring, and he feels lucky that he hasn't been seriously injured like that. He wanted to take time off. He's got his band Fozzy, and he's doing some acting. Before they went to first break, Landsberg had to cut him off, and said he had introduce us to the break.

Jericho was saying Landsberg do the talking, but keep the camera on him, because he's the one with the great hair and all that. So they did it, and Jericho was moving his lips, trying to lipsync with Landsberg's voice, and moving his hands around to seem interesting. I thought it looked more like he was a contestant on American Idol, telling the fans to dial the number to vote for him.
