i remember wrestling was actually good, man. and i honestly wish i could re-live those days. i dunno, blame it on the drastic changes wwe made or maybe just me growing up but i just can't get into wrestling anymore.

i'll watch every blue moon and thats RARELY, but i can't go back to my old ways of wrestling.

i used to record every show, order every ppv, have all the action figures, wear wrestling t-shirts, go to shows. i mean i was a true wrestling mark. to be 17, there's an amazing amount of shit i know about wrestling that u doubt i'd probably know.

i would order every single wrestling tape, recent and old. i used to go rent like 3 at a time from blockbuster and just watch everything. i mean, i literally went wild at the t.v when wrestling was on, especially when hbk won cuz he was my favorite wrestler back then.

when hbk won the '96 rumble, i went nuts. when he beat bret hart, i went nuts. when he lost to austin, i cried. wrestling was really serious to me and as it evolved into this bullshit, i hated it.

survivor series, king of the ring, royal rumble, wrestlemania, all that shit. it was just so fuckin interesting. they had everything down from gimmicks to groups but now it's just so stale and fake.

the character's and their personna's are just faulty as fuck. this whole john cena shit is just annoying, i really can't get into this guy. the majority of the guy's who used to be interesting are trying to be brought back to relive their old glory & it's just not working.

hbk is just ruining his career. same with the undertaker. i wish austin would just stay gone too.

the only character's i actually like/liked in wwe have all either been fired or left to tna which makes it suck even more. and every star who has potential to possibly be the next big thing in wwe gets fucked over.

lesnar, jericho, christian, jeff hardy, matt hardy, brian kendrick, edge, booker t - all great wrestlers who could be huge but are misused. kurt angle is great and the best currently imo but he needs help leading wwe into greatness.

i don't think wrestling will ever reach the level it used to be, honestly. shit is just to fake now.

I think it's better now than it was about a year ago, but it's really went downhill from what I couldn't wait to watch. Sometimes I forget when it's on until about a half hour later, that never would've happened back in the day.

I agree with this completely. I think it sucks to see someone like booker and benoit get the us titles when they shouldn't be getting anything but world titles.

that's funny because i can completely relate to that.

i used to religiously be on my couch watching monday night raw and smackdown every monday and thursday but now it's like by time i realize it's either day, the shows have about 20 mins. left.

i wanted to watch raw for the eddie special, but by time i turned in all i saw was cena/orton.

and what's so stupid about wwe is the majority of those guys i named are either currently in nwa or just inactive.

it's a damn shame vince doesn't make wwe based on sheer talent. i mean, it's not like those guys AREN'T over or don't have enough charisma to get themselves over. it's just like vince doesn't/didn't care.
