who do you consider the best seller(s) in recent memory? that is, what wrestler(s) sold their opponents move accurately and vividly, making the move and the opponent look great every time?

who do you consider the best innovator(s)? not necesarily just moves, but on the mic, or even using weapons. who showed you something new and impressive on a fairly regular basis?

what match series do you remember being of the utmost quality, worthy of a dvd collection on their own?

i have shawn michaels and rob van dam as two of my top sellers. just watching van dam on his dvd sell tommy dreamer's piledriver, literally bouncing up a good two feet before hitting the mat...beautiful. and there's no need for me to even begin with hbk.

for comedy, i like flair's sells, also.

innovators: nova, rob van dam, sabu, rey mysterio, the rock (mic work) and paul heyman (booking).

dvd match series: chris benoit and booker t, rey mysterio and psychosis, rob van dam and jerry lynn, shawn michaels and owen hart (not really a series, but any match they were in together was gold), and foley and triple h.

[Knock Lesnar]

Sellers - Benoit (perfect example is his match with Edge the night after Mania when he was still selling the arm injury.) Eddie, Regal, Jeff Hardy, HBK, HHH.

Innovators - AJ Styles, RVD, Christopher Daniels, basically all the X Division guys, Foley.

Match Series - RVD/Jerry Lynn, Angle/Benoit HHH/Foley, Benoit/Regal, Malenko/Rey

Shawn Michaels in his prime was the biggest overseller of all time.

He'd take a punch to the face in the middle of the ring, run to the turnbuckle and do a ric flair flip, bounce off of the guardrail, piss himself, dive through the announcer's table, speak spanish, have sex with some random nasty fat chick, blade his forehead, and then return to the ring.

Rock and John Cena also oversell. The Rock did it a lot more when he came back with the hollywood heel gimmick.
