Rip Tna?
13 Apr 2005 by Ryan Clark
At this time, TNA does not have shows scheduled after June including television tapings or pay-per-views. TNA's contract with Universal Studios in Orlando, FL is set to expire at the end of June. No word regarding a possible renewal, or if another venue would be considered for the "Impact" tapings. Additionally, there have been no further discussions of running house shows, PPVs or Fox Sports Net specials outside of Orlando.
At the 4/5 tapings, some TNA employees were shorted on money including agents, announcers, referees and wrestlers.
The mood backstage at the 4/5 tapings were described by some as a "death watch." Dusty Rhodes as incurred a lot of heat as head booker of the promotion. Sources are claiming that the idea to book all six sides of steel cage matches at the 4/24 Lockdown PPV either came from Terry Taylor or Jeff Jarrett himself. Some have suggested this was done to blame Rhodes when the PPV failed to attract a strong buy rate, thus the company would replace him as booker.
There is a feeling that Panda Energy might not be as supportive of the project as once thought.

- Monty Brown’s TNA contract expires in the next couple of months, and there is speculation he could be WWE bound.
- It appears one of Kevin Nash’s gripes with TNA is that he has yet to win a PPV match while Dusty Rhodes has been booking.
- Rhodes remains TNA booker, but was told to stop using Phi Delta Slam.
- Scott Hall is said be in worse shape than previously reported. More as it becomes available.
