Angle/HBK- Pretty good match. Not classic, but very good. The ending was awsome. Damn Shawn Michaels is going bald huh, also I'm suprised Shawn's back can handle all those bumps he takes. Incredible.
Batista/Triple H- Wasn't really into this match. Everyone who's interesting in Batista get me wondering. Will they be interested in him when they try to put him in another feud? I'm sorry I dont see whats so special about this guy. Find him very bland in the ring. He might go down in history as being as bad of a champ as Diesel I'm telling you.
Cena/JBL- Jesus what were they thinking not a good match at all. Why the hell would they completely ruin the past 8 months for JBL in the matter of 15 minutes. I would have let him keep the belt. This whole angle seemed thrown together, and I really dont think Cena has what it takes to be champ. I would have JBL win a clean match to prove how he was diserving of the championship belt this past year.
Eddie/Rey- Rey's masking falling off so much really ruined this match. Jesus if he only had one of his masks that actually stayed on his head. A few cool moves, and it wasn't that bad. They both seemed a little off though, they didn't seem on their A game
Christie/Trish- They seriously could have had a much more interesting match with someone like Molly Holly, but instead picked Christie. The match was awful, the wrestling was awful, the whole thing was awful. It also did nothing to help Trish. If anything it made the women's division look even more like a joke than it already is. If someone like her can get a women's title chance what does that even say about the division. They should have a good 10 women's wrestlers fighting for the belt. Not Trish, and some porn model.
Ladder Match- The spotfest was pretty good. At times seemed like people would just disappear for minutes at a time, and the ending seemed very rushed. I'd rather see someone like Christian win over someone like Edge. Edge doesnt seem to have what it takes to compete as a heavyweight champ so why repeat history, should take the risk, and get some new blood in there.
Undertaker/Orton- Way better than I thought it would be. I think they did the right thing in letting Taker win. I dont think they should have him lose at all anyways, but even more so this year. If Orton wasn't going on the injured list, and they built the feud up more than a few weeks i'd say yeah maybe Orton should win.
Piper's Pit- Ehh it was alright. Stone Cold has really lost what he had, it reminded me of the last few months he was on Raw. He just wasn't that interesting anymore. You can only take so much beer drinking, stone cold stunning, being a baddass type crap before it gets old. Piper was pretty funny, but again I dont know just didnt seem like either one really gave a rat's ass.
Hogan's return- Ehh fuck that I'm sorry but shit is getting old quick. Originally I wasnt against him returning, but after tonight I can see how much this guy wants the attention. Maybe that's just who he is, but I dont think he's needed anymore. Hopefully he wont come back, there was nothing worse than those months he was Captain America or whatever he was on smackdown. Made me not want to watch Smackdown at all.
Sumo match- Possibly going down in the wrestlingcrap hall of fame as one of the worst matches ever. Who on earth came up with this awful idea? And who thought to themselves that anyone wanted to see Big Show in a thong. Oh man awful.
Overall real underaverage ppv. Am I suprised? not at all, the product has been off for a few years now. Hopefully they'll learn from mistakes, and build on it.
Next year please God have all the titles defended. Make them mean something, make each belt worth what it should be. Much more interesting than seeing a bunch of fluff...
