I wish I saw the vignettes that led up to his debut. How long have they been played for?

He has a gimmick, funky hair + funky music. I haven't heard him cut a promo (I don't know if he has, but I'm guessing he has). I've only caught around the last half hour of Smackdown for the past two weeks, so I saw his debut match and his successful defense.

Carlito Carribbean Cool has star quality. That easily puts him over Heidenreich-zilla, Gene Snitsky... and Batista.

Carlito is cool on the mic... matter of fact, I think his mic skills are on the same level as a young Rock or Chris Jericho. But I've watched both of his matches so far and can't say that I'm impressed with his offensive moves. He sells the shit outta other people's moves, he made Cena look great in his debut match.

I wouldn't put him up there with jericho, but yeah, he can work the stick alright for a foreign guy.

He's excellent on the mic and in his promos but his in-ring skills need to develop. I'd say give him a year and he could be great.

they barely ever let wrestlers do cool shit outside of a PPV

it is a RARITY to see a match better than average on TV

no one will really kno how good he is until they get some tapes of WWC when he was the promotions champion, or until we see him on a pay per view against somebody like booker t, rvd, or any wrestler he wont have to carry

Oh really? I didn't know that the WWE tells the wrestlers to have bad matches when it's not a PPV.

I guess it's all my imagination when I see Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero and Paul London put on excellent matches every time they step in the ring.

ive seen all those you mentioned put on some boring ass television matches

do i even have to bring up booker t vs buff bagwell??

thats a perfect example of a formulaic match

it sucked, not because t and buff suck, but because it was scripted that way

they do the same shit at house shows with the same spots and finishes

read some insider sites like lordsofpain or rajah and ull see that they do the same shit over and over and over and over

it saves them not only from injury but energy to be able to compete at the level they do

word...thats bs that nobody puts on good matches. some matches on raw and sd are better then the ppv matches..

The Booker/Buff match actually sucked because Buff ran out of energy halfway through the match.
