Bearer leaving WWE?
Vince McMahon is said to still be strongly behind the Mordecai character. McMahon continues to think that given time, the character will be a major success in the long run, though the word in the locker room is that Kevin Fertig (Mordecai) has some potential but he is too nervous right now to get over properly. One source backstage has even gone as far as saying "He's terrified before he even goes out there."
Newly signed WWE talent Takako Inoue from Japan is apparently heading to Minnesota to train under Brad Rheingans so that she can familiarize herself with the American style of pro-wrestling. On a funny note, John Laurinaitis had asked her how old she was during her tryout. She told him that she was 35 (which is true). Laurinaitis instantly got a shocked look on his face and told her that she looks like she's 23. Takako was reportedly thrilled to hear that.
Finally, Paul Bearer is expected to make his final appearence within WWE this coming Sunday at the Great American Bash. From there on, it's not likely we'll be seeing him.
