Monday Night Raw Preview: 05.03.04


Two weeks of anticipation will finally come to a head when Chris Benoit defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels this coming week on Monday Night RAW. Will the Showstopper be able to overcome the man who made him tap out at the Backlash pay-per-view? Or will Benoit continue to prove why he holds the top spot on the RAW roster? Find out Monday night when RAW comes to you live from the desert in Phoenix.

Also, it has been a disastrous two weeks for Evolution. Between Triple H not leaving Backlash as World Heavyweight Champion, Ric Flair & Batista losing the World Tag Team Championship the very next night (and then losing the rematch with Edge and Chris Benoit one week later) and Randy Orton being attacked by Shelton Benjamin last week on RAW, the foursome will not be in good spirits on RAW this week. What does that mean for the rest of the RAW roster? Who will feel the wrath of Evolution? Find out on RAW.

I hope michaels wins, it'll do wwe a whole lot of good, I mean Benoit has been a cool champ but Michaels is just better in my eyes, he entertains more, there isn't a limit to what he can do.

he's not unfortunately, because he cant wrestle most house shows so he cant hold the belt. plus they are satisfied with benoit was champ right now and he prolly wont lose the belt until alteast summer slam.

I'm glad Benoit got the title belt but I don't like how he got it back. Benoit will beat HHH at Summerslam though to retain his belt b/c if he doesn't and Triple H gets it back then Benoit will look ridiculously weak. Beating Michaels b/c of HHH and then losing to him a few months later would be something I think even the WWE wouldn't have happen b/c it would ruin all of his credibility.

And just for the record though Shawn is currently good, used to be great, Benoit is better period.
