Why isn't there a wrestling channel??

Like most of you, I assume (those in or near an urban area), I have digital cable - more or less channels out the ass. I've got a frickin Science channel, a History channel, an International History channel, a Fitness channel, like 3 health channels, blah blah blah the list goes on and on. I've even got a channel devoted strictly to gaming (I for one think it pretty much sucks). Yet still, with all this - and with this country's somewhat lengthy wrestling history - I don't have a wrestling channel. Why is this? Why don't I have a channel where I can check out Japanese wrestling matches late at night, and matches from the 50's and 60's early in the morning? Why isn't DirecTV offering a package where I can view up to 20 wrestling organizations a week? What exactly is it that's holding back this wrestling channel idea from coming into existence? Do I need to go directly to the cable channel presidents to make this happen? What's it gonna take?

i dont know what's stopping it, cause i think they have one in the UK now, or will soon

i have digital here, over in canada we supposedly have the most advanced digital services in the world.

you wouldn't believe some of the shit i've found on here. about 6 different french channels, the report on business network (rob tv lol, sinc emy names rob i always love saying that), all kinds of shit

i even found a channel called "security camera" and fi i go to it, it makes the entire tv go fucked until i change away from it. baffles me, really.

there's a channel that looks like a heart machine, measuring a heart rate or somesuch..it's weird.

the UK does have a wrestling channel now, they have for a while. and what do you use for cable? Cuz we use shaw and we had digital for a whole, way too many bullshit channels. I don't understand why we have so many french channels, in ALBERTA. And not to mention the spanish channels.

I have . . . the WORST . . . digital cable provider . . . possibly so far in the limited history of digital cable. Yes, Comcast has made a name for being the highest-priced and least-customer friendly digital cable service around - and they've bought out all of their competition in this area. So it's either Comcast Digital Cable or no fucking cable at all. How nice. I might be switching to DirecTV VERY soon.

Hey . . . if you could make a programming lineup for a wrestling channel (assuming you could use WHATEVER wrestling footage you wanted to use) . . . . what would you put on it? Let's see your programming skills!

We don't have digital anymore, just the $40 package, shit basically. I remember when we had digital and I went through every channel and 90% of them were total trash.

The UK wrestling channel started about a week ago...

Wait untill more established channels see that thoose wrestling leagues are popular and buy the rights to the programs and leave the channel with nothing of value.

Unless the channel can secure the rights to broadcast it will only be a matter of time untill a bigger company crushes them with money.
