After he broke his neck it never really healed all the way, it bothered him and I think it still bothers him to this day. His knees are shot, he has arm injuries, and his body, mainly his neck, couldn't really handle it as well as it could before.

I'm suprised that Shawn Michaels wrestles so much these days. After his surgery it sounded like he wouldnt wrestle again but he seems to be going strong
