Steve Austin on the Sharon Osbourne show
now, on The Sharon Osbourne talk show (1 p.m., WPIX WB-11 in NYC) Steve Austin was just on. The show started with him and Sharon actually wrestling in a makeshift ring. They rolled around for like 5 minutes and it was pretty funny because Austin was breathing heavy the whole interview after it...not quite in wrestling shape! He basically said nothing new, went through his injuries, explained that he got the Stone Cold name from an HBO special, talked about his love-hate relationship with Vince, and explained he gets paid to drink beer, flip people off, cuss and raise hell. The only thing of note that he mentioned that was new and interesting for the future was when Sharon asked him if he would wrestle again. He said it is 50-50 right now, but he was getting in shape and that if he did come back, he most likely will at WrestleMania for the 20th anniversary. He said you can't get any better than Madison Square Garden, and Sharon agreed, being that Ozzy Osbourne has played there before. That was about it, lots of Austin fans with T-shirts in the crowd. He obviously was touting the new book, and Sharon said everyone in the audience would get a copy.
