TNA Turning Point Absentees: Rhino & Scott Hall
-- There were two stories going around backstage in TNA in regards to Rhino’s absence at TNA Turning Point. One was that he had a neck injury, the other was that there was a personal issue he had to take care of.

-- Early reports say that Scott Hall claimed “food poisoning” as to why he didn’t show up at the TNA Turning Point PPV last night. TNA had been working for weeks promoting the return of The Outsiders at the PPV. Hall’s no-show lead to a huge shoot promo from Samoa Joe at the end of the show. "Scott Hall punked out on me and on every single fan in this building tonight,” said Joe. He said there are TNA die-hards who bust their asses for the fans every week and there are superstars who think they come and do whatever they want, however they feel like it, and screw the hard-working guys and fans of TNA. Earlier in the show Joe sent another shot at Hall saying that he “probably couldn’t pass the breathalyzer in his car to get to the arena.”

The Joe promo sounds like the beginning of New Blood 2k7.

Say what you will about people bashing TNA, but what would people say about a WWE PPV where the only title match was for the women's title?

I was thinking about Joe's comments, and with Scott Hall's reputation, "food poisoning" might not differ from "alcohol poisoning" at all. Anyway, it's pretty bad when people are speculating whether this was real or a work.

I've read some of the reviews people were giving it, and some people thought the women's title match was the best match on the card.

i personally think the hall stuff is fake.. the match was boring as it was.. it was just another 6 man tag.

Russo does love his "OMG IT'S A SHOOT" angles.

Since the MCMGs and Joe were both stuck in lame six-mans, I wouldn't be surprised if the women's match was the match of the night. Kong is one of the best things in TNA right now.

i think if it was fake and planned then I'm sure they might have gone with someone other then Eric Young as his replacement. Plus on the tapings for this week they ignored it altogether.
