I've "caught a case" before and god knows I'm not "hard"
Hahahaha I broke into some random car and stole it when I was like 15.
5 weeks in Juvie and I would cry thunder storms if I have to go to "real" jail.

The main change in my life was having a son.
I had to do a lot of growing up really fast.
Not saying I was an immature child just still had a few years left to be a "kid"
I don't regret it though. My child is my life.
He's the reason I do everything.

Another thing would be Hurricane Katrina.
Leaving with just a few changes of clothing and then finally going home to a slab of cement where your house used to be.
That hit me hard.
We lost everything and starting over just added on to the stress.

in 6th grade one of my close friends was killed in a shootout while waiting at the barbershop for a haircut (he was only 12 years old), it was Christmas Eve

six months later...on the last day of school... my younger brother, who was 11 years old, was hit by a car and killed while walking to school. The fucked up thing was that it was a drunk off-duty cop...the muthafucka never stepped a foot inside of a jail

5/29/97- the birth of my daughter. I had 9 months to prepare for motherhood but it wasn't until the doctor said "It's a girl" that the whole mother thing hit me. It was the biggest life altering moment of my life. I had to grow up.
