Besides double's post... this is prob one of the top 10 threads ive read on this site since we started it.

With all the different personalities... I see alot of things that you all share with each other.

Depending where you are in your journey of life... you all have experienced adversity and its interesting to see your comments in this post. I remember being there... that's prob why I appreciate the underdog more than someone who hasnt been thru tough times.

I'm going to say the first one in my life was probably when my Mom married my step dad and his 3 kids moved in with us when I was 4. I never recommend being an only child with 3 step sibblings, shit was so one sided. Then I'd say the abuse I suffered as a child, because it made me a better person and parent to my children IMO. Sometimes ppl keep the chain going and abuse their children because that's all they know. However I've broken that chain and don't believe in beating my children. They will have a better childhood than I did ;o)

Another is obviously becoming a mother/wife. That needs no explaination. Anyone knows when you become either, it's life altering ;o)

And I think the final one for me, was meeting my birth father last year for the first time in 25yrs.
