No Questions Asked Policy. You Break A Rule. You Pay The Price Period. NO EXCEPTIONS. Dont Care If Your Janitor/Jeff.
Now On To The Complete Rules And Regulations.

-BATTLES ARE DUE FRIDAY, MIDNIGHT EASTERN! (meaning if you post at 12:01am, you are late)
-VOTES ARE DUE SUNDAY, MIDNIGHT pm EASTERN (late votes will not count)

-Each battler is allowed to up their threads TWICE in a match.
before the battler(s) is penalized -1 vote for each up after the
entitled amount. Upping: (vote count,discussing votes,or just
replying period)

-You MUST vote on 6 battles EACH week & EDIT the vote links
in your "check in" posts. Failure to vote on ALL 6 will result in a
deduction of votes for the links you're missing. Meaning.. you
drop 4 links, you LOSE 2 votes automatically.

-Mininum Lines: 4 (2 Couplets)/ Max. Lines: 30 (15 Couplets)!
Also, battlers MUST agree on the amount of lines to be written
for each verse. If not, whoever drops first determines the MAX
line amount. For example, If I drop 16 first, without agreeing
my opponent cannot go MORE than 16 lines. If YOU DO go over the maximum line limit set. YOU LOSE -1 Vote For Each Couplet Over
** In a 3-Way Battle The Maximum Line Limit Is 20 Lines/10 Couplets
** In a 4-Way Battle The Maximum Line Limit Is 10 Lines/5 Couplets


-NO EDITING your verse AFTER BOTH verses have been posted. EDITING your post after both rhymes have been posted will result in an immediate DQ. Dont matter if your editing spelling or a fucking PERIOD. Its a DQ. No Questions Asked.

-Late verses will result in an AUTOMATIC disqualification, don't
even care if it's 5 minutes late. Even if s mod late with closing
the no shows, the deadline will still be enforced.

--Closed battles are finalized. Unless the mod made a mistake in
closing your thread, any problem regarding the battle AFTER it
has been closed..you will have to deal with it. But../If the mod
just messed up something, then it's cool for it to be changed.
IF YOU BREAK A RULE, IT'S YOUR FAULT AND YOURS ALONE!!

-If you BITCH or it is DEEMED you are SWAYING VOTES. You will be deducted -10 Votes. End Of Story.

- In a 3-WAY Battle. If Both Your Opponents Show And You Beat Them Then You Get 2 WINS. If ONE opponent shows and you win then you get 1 WIN only!!.

- In a VERY rare occasion that there is a 4-WAY Battle. The Same Rules Apply. 3 Opponents Show and You Beat Em'. Thats 3 WINS. 2 Show and You Beat Them. Thats 2 Wins. 1 Shows You Get 1 WIN

- No Biting Rhymes EVER. If its found out that you bit aka plagarized someone elses work. Then you are Terminated From the RBL for good or until a mod sees fit to let you return.

- Pics are not allowed, unless both emcees use them

EXTENSIONS: You must hit up a MOD or Sequel on AIM prior to the deadline and give us a good reason as to why you will need a ONE DAY extension. -3 Votes will be deducted from your battle if you do in fact need an extension.

***If your opponent has been granted an extension, you too can use this extended period of time***

All extensions will be 24 hours AT MOST.

-NO 1 Sentence Voting
ALL VOTES MUST BE ATLEAST 5 LINES LONG.
Explaining Who You Thought Won Or It WONT COUNT.

This battle was dope, good show fellers, Islands 1st four lines had me rollin, mostly every thing after that was good, but didnt catch my attention like the 1st 4 lines, stayed consistent though through the whole verse. Doc had a good opener, 4 lines after that i wasnt feelin, then came with some more heat then fell off again, its like hard punch, then ehh..up n down an shit, this a tough vote for me,

but ima go with Island for consistency .....

You had some lines that I really liked.. Like the gimme dough instead line and the pops run out on you line.. but that was bout it.. The rest was aight to cool and some were just eh...for a champ battle I figured it would be better

Well i didnt feel your start but you brung the heat at the end..I woudl think you would be more cosistant..Maybe is they were personals I didnt get them but still not bad..


OVERALL

I think both didn't come like they should.. for this being a champ match... DOC started off slow and finished strong while Island was up and down..I base my pick on who would be a better champ and because this is even..with a little edge going to island for his wittiness..

I got island taking this but this was a very close battle to me

I felt island started off strong with the work lines, those were great but dropped off a bit in the middle and picked up at the end

that publicity line was sick by doc, thought that was your strongest personal......had some ups and downs but overall it was a solid verse

in the end tho vote=island for consistancy

Doc came a lot better than expected, but his verse wasn't as polished or witty as Islands. I liked Doc's O'Doil and road trip lines, but the rest are used too much. I really like Island's verse this week, he had some good creativity on the personals. First four lines were comedy, the Dough instead punch was cool, and the closer was a fresh jab. Overall he had a more polished, fresh verse with well-rounded personals.

sweet verses, first champ match thats been tight in awhile. first off, i didn't know doc richards was an alias, let alone one of the mods. crazy...anyways about halfway through doc's first i could've swore he was taking this, every punch was funny and witty. he kind of fell off a bit towards the end, which hurt him the most. island was just as funny in most parts, but solid throughout. good battle...

Very nice battle, i liked both verses. Island started out DOPE. Those first 2 punches were funny as hell. The rest of his verse was coo, stayed pretty consistent. Had some creative lines in there. Demik started out kinda weak, but picked it up a little before the middle.. the rest was nice. Had nice personals, good closer. This was pretty close, but i think Island got it wit consistency. He came funnier. Dope battle.
