(RBL Rules and Regulations Guidelines)
Failure To Recognize Or Abide By ANY Of These Rules Will Result In The Given Penalty That Regulates The Rules. And Continuous Bitching, Whining, And Excessive Complaining Will Result In Your Termination From RBL Until A Mod See's Fit For You To Return.
No Questions Asked Policy. You Break A Rule. You Pay The Price Period. NO EXCEPTIONS. Dont Care If Your Janitor/Jeff.
Now On To The Complete Rules And Regulations.
-BATTLES ARE DUE FRIDAY, MIDNIGHT EASTERN! (meaning if you post at 12:01am, you are late)
-VOTES ARE DUE SUNDAY, MIDNIGHT pm EASTERN (late votes will not count)
-Each battler is allowed to up their threads TWICE in a match.
before the battler(s) is penalized -1 vote for each up after the
entitled amount. Upping: (vote count,discussing votes,or just
replying period)
-You MUST vote on 6 battles EACH week & EDIT the vote links
in your "check in" posts. Failure to vote on ALL 6 will result in a
deduction of votes for the links you're missing. Meaning.. you
drop 4 links, you LOSE 2 votes automatically.
-Mininum Lines: 4 (2 Couplets)/ Max. Lines: 30 (15 Couplets)!
Also, battlers MUST agree on the amount of lines to be written
for each verse. If not, whoever drops first determines the MAX
line amount. For example, If I drop 16 first, without agreeing
my opponent cannot go MORE than 16 lines. If YOU DO go over the maximum line limit set. YOU LOSE -1 Vote For Each Couplet Over
** In a 3-Way Battle The Maximum Line Limit Is 20 Lines/10 Couplets
** In a 4-Way Battle The Maximum Line Limit Is 10 Lines/5 Couplets
-NO EDITING your verse AFTER BOTH verses have been posted. EDITING your post after both rhymes have been posted will result in an immediate DQ. Dont matter if your editing spelling or a fucking PERIOD. Its a DQ. No Questions Asked.
-Late verses will result in an AUTOMATIC disqualification, don't
even care if it's 5 minutes late. Even if s mod late with closing
the no shows, the deadline will still be enforced.
--Closed battles are finalized. Unless the mod made a mistake in
closing your thread, any problem regarding the battle AFTER it
has been closed..you will have to deal with it. But../If the mod
just messed up something, then it's cool for it to be changed.
IF YOU BREAK A RULE, IT'S YOUR FAULT AND YOURS ALONE!!
-If you BITCH or it is DEEMED you are SWAYING VOTES. You will be deducted -10 Votes. End Of Story.
- In a 3-WAY Battle. If Both Your Opponents Show And You Beat Them Then You Get 2 WINS. If ONE opponent shows and you win then you get 1 WIN only!!.
- In a VERY rare occasion that there is a 4-WAY Battle. The Same Rules Apply. 3 Opponents Show and You Beat Em'. Thats 3 WINS. 2 Show and You Beat Them. Thats 2 Wins. 1 Shows You Get 1 WIN
- No Biting Rhymes EVER. If its found out that you bit aka plagarized someone elses work. Then you are Terminated From the RBL for good or until a mod sees fit to let you return.
- Pics are not allowed, unless both emcees use them
EXTENSIONS: You must hit up a MOD or Sequel on AIM prior to the deadline and give us a good reason as to why you will need a ONE DAY extension. -3 Votes will be deducted from your battle if you do in fact need an extension.
***If your opponent has been granted an extension, you too can use this extended period of time***
All extensions will be 24 hours AT MOST.
-NO 1 Sentence Voting
ALL VOTES MUST BE ATLEAST 5 LINES LONG.
Explaining Who You Thought Won Or It WONT COUNT.
My Motto Is If You Cant Vote Right Why Should You Deserve Someone Voting On Your Battle
And IF the person who voted DIDNT explain his vote like he's suppose to then he'll LOSE A VOTE on his battle.
Yes. Quoting A Battler Counts As A Line But You MUST Quote Atleast Something From Each Battler. And THERE MUST Be A Explanation Behind Them.
Breakdowns By Couplets Are Still Allowed.
