Nice battle here.. Seen better from both before, but I dunno whats up with these votes, seriously.. That Lebron line, was MU-the fuckin-FUCKIN CLASSIC.. sorry, but Dough got beeeeat here.. The picture advantage sortof was bad though.. Island didnt really need to post it up cuz the punches still woulda been funny, but whatever.. the outcome is still the same

this battle turned out to be sort of a letdown in my eyes. i figured island would try a less amateur approach to such a match, but he dropped a pic, and 20 lines relating to one thing. well, i guess you could call that consistency?? but it still didn't have the effect dough's lines did. although I also expected more from DJ, he still managed to get the Victory.

By the look of the votes, it wasn't.
I read both verses, Ionno, I'm kind of shocked really at what's going on.

First off,
Island, whoever the fuck you are,
you've definitely got to quit this gay alias shit. Using Dough's picture was pretty gay when you yourself didn't have one to give him.
Seroiiusly, that gave you a faggotty/unfair advantage and I disapprove of it veeeeeeery much.

It's like in a freestyle battle, some dude can see what you look like but you ain't able to see him.
Shit just ain't fiar.

With that being said:

Island's verse:

I ain't relaly feel the opener, but the Cav line was fuckin' hot, that'd work nicely on anyone, the 2 weeks in a row personal was pretty niice, i thought that torso line was hilarious even though shit ain't fair, bottom 30 line was fuckin' fiyah, chin = dunce cap line was line of your verse to mean, that shit's just sick...an' then teh chinzilla line was decent, kind of repetitive in the wordin' but solid.
Overall, bitch move on the picture, but a fiyah verse none the less. I was impressed here, at least 2-3 mag worthy lines.

Dough's verse:

I like how he showed up an' tried to counter what he could nicely.
Opening line was really nice lol. Citizen X line stood out to me too, haha good shit...alias line was pretty cool, but that grammar school play line, set up was eh but the line dfeinitely impressed me, i'd say line of the match up here an' then the closer was pretty cool.
Overall, strong verse here. Good job tryin' to counter that shit, you did a good job. At least 2 punchlines mag worthy to me.


Anyway, hard to call this one.
Island had that advantage with the picture...the chin lines were pretty good though.
Dough did a nice job counterin' that shit, his verse was pretty good too.

However, in this one, I felt Island's unfair advantage gave him too much shit. This is why I am giving him the nod by one punch or so.

I honestly didn't go 'wow' at any of his lines.. whereas Island had the Cavs line.. and some other creative shit.. overall I just felt his verse more.

i happened to read some of the replies too, and frankly im disgusted. dough is whining about island having an unfair advantage when thats bullshit. first of all island didnt even HAVE to post the pic, everyone knows what dough looks like. and second of all, DOUGH had the advantage by posting second and playing of islands verse. dont give me and bullshit that he didnt make that first couplet up after reading islands verse.

this was a VERY close battle. dough had some really quality lines that i liked a lot. but then again, so did island. granted a lot of islands were chin lines, but who cares? people seem to be voting against him just cus they were chin lines. but the fact is, they were HOT!! overall.....this was definatley close but....
