If your opponent NO-SHOWS, and you posted a full verse you will be bumped up appropriately to face the next person in the brackets within your range. If no opponent is available such as if you were in the bottom 20 and the next up no show is in the top 10 then you will be given a win for your efforts. You must still vote on 5 matches accordingly as any failure to vote will result in no win and no progress in the ranks. The only event other than this in which you may take the no show win is if you only did post a no-show verse which consists of 4 rhyming lines.

Red Water

I chose to be alienenated
accepted to be devastated
with a glare beaming irritation
I stare at my reflection
my company for a time untold
myself ... the best presence I was told
lies upon opinions dipped in history

I sit at the creek admiring its flow

as once more I cough up blood my thoughts glide to my daughter
as balance leaves me I fall down my blood slowly creates red water
as I see it flow away like so many times I did before
all the wind I thought I owned leaves my core
from all the places I could have put myself to rest
under a clear sky and a stream I admire … this is the best
