A worthless person no home, an immobile car,
Until the day I was shanghai’d at a local bar,
Suffered through cuts and bruises beaten badly,
Hopin with all my mind that the demons had me,
Stuck in a cell four by four, and the core is mud,
I can hear scratching and pounding on the floors above,

Damn I'm glad to see some peeps battling..

Project your piece was ight but it never made me want to read it... I think your structure is getting better and your starting to elevate but you flow was basic and you didnt make your topic that appealing...

Ribon I liked your topic... You did a real nice job and the content of it was nice... You came original and your verse was fresh... The flow was nice and everything seemed to follow the chain of events.. Nice shit..

I didn't think this was bad at all lol...I don't know what all the fuss is about...I agree that the lines seemed pretty short but overall the rhymes were pretty good...Didn't really seem that forced to me...Concept you went with was aight...Not what I was expecting really which is a good thing...I agree with L Dogg that you could have probably made it a lot more compelling if you had added to it some more...Not just for the sake of length but moreso to develop the topic even further...

I definitely liked the way this read...It was real smooth...Rhymes were enough to keep things interesting...The way you flipped the topic really wasn't anything groundbreaking...That said...It was still written and executed well...My only complaint is pretty much the same as P.E.'s...It was just short as hell...Didn't really give me a whole lot to chew on even though what was there was certainly tasty...In other words...I'm sure this could have been better...

In the end, I, like pretty much everybody else in here, give this one to Ribo...I think he out-performed P.E. in terms of mechanics and what not...The story itself was also a pretty nice read...I think if P.E. would have put a bit more time into his verse this could have turned out quite differently though...

fascinating match - two fellas almost with a same type of writing style.... both have same structure... and content seems the same but the approach was diff.... PE took the explanation topical route.. had a few lines that confused me.... nonetheless the words after veered me back into the motion.... good piece... RIBO --- u got this match straight from the storytelling.... u gave it direction and brought some nice emotional lines on the latter half of the verse.. and came out with a clean cut turnout...

Project – Your verse came off as very amateur this week and I’ve seen you write a bit more polished in Open Mic. Especially opening up with a Blues Clues simile. That sets a bad tone. I do like towards the end when you get to the “remove your barriers” line and start having a more rapid flow, but then you cut it short.

Ribo – You also have a short verse so that puts you on an even playing field with your opponenet this week. However, you’re a more refined writer with easily sustained flow and nice mechanics. Topically, it’s no revelation that suicide is used to escape life but your telling was good enough to carry the verse.
