The Loneliest Hour

I contemplate and I dwell, wondering how in the hell...
Did I embark upon the actions to arrive in this cell
The minute hand reaches 12...this is my final day
My execution by injection is an hour away
I sit and i pray...the situation remains so vivid
Tears are running constantly as i begin to envision

(flashback)

My mind depicting exactly how the events unfolded
On a rigorous night which was enshrouded with coldness
We were at it again, another fight with my wife
An every day occurance inside of this strife filled life
I've become accustomed to it, now it's reached full throttle
I've grown reliable amoungst the contents of a bottle
I had to start heading home since work began at dusk
Sitting at the bar ever since I left in disgust
Struggling to get home, doing as best as i could
As i staggered and weaved my way through the paths in the woods
Finally reaching my property...the first thing that i spot
An unusal car parked within my very own lot
Remaining puzzled yet not in my right state of mind
My next vision quickly mustered my heart into a bind
The closer I got, I noticed by the light in the house...
...Through the kitchen window, a man embracing my spouse
I was initially shocked eventually indulged in such anger..
..That nothing in this world could keep this man out of danger
No plesant thoughts in my head, this man's as good as dead
Distraught and disgruntled, heading straight for the shed
I recover my shotgun, begin to load it accordingly
My anger and adrenaline are surely supporting me
Never did I imagine such an unusual sight

I arrive at the door, donkey kicking it quite swiftly

My legs weaken i'm fighting just to remain stable
I can't believe what i've done, fall to my knees as i'm shaking

I manage to pull myself together as I crawl towards the corpse
A huge puddle of blood, with his guts in all sorts
His back badly dismantled, the whole area open

I never thought I would be filled with so much disgrace

both came good.. mc4site blew this match away though with creativity. your not going to see another verse wriiten like that...i do feel like i have seen troublesomes or could see someone writing that way.. the plot was not as fresh as 4 sites.. but 4site.. you gotta work the flow in better.. i picked up some of it.. but thank god your meaning behind the lines take away from the flow.. because trouble would have won if you came as simple as him with your style of flow.

Illest battle I'm to vote on yet i must say....

Troublesome - you did nothing wrong. the flow was ill, the structure of the story was perfect, vocab was present. You had an introduction, body and ending, everything in order.
The story was a good read.

MC4Sight - i dont think i can describe your story in a way that won't be considered dickryding. It is amazing, not the story itself, but the way it is written. It rhymes to those that pay attention, and rejects those who glance through it. It was on a whole another level, and it was hard for me to match up troublesome's verse to your piece. Dam, the beginning the body the end, it was all there and it was all real and it was all gracious.

His creativity and just overall mechanics won this match for him.. Although I think his flow was a little off. Well atleast I couldn't catch on to it. but the content in his verse was incredible. Troublesome you came ill as well. you had flow, content, and imagery...but I think you lacked creativity a little. And MC4 just slightly edged this win out from you.

This was a really good verse. Flow was immacualte, made the piece read real smooth. The overall storyline was cool, well thought out, twist was alright, IMO the only thing that lacked was imagery, your piece just came off a little simplistic, real straight to the point, which isn't always the best approach to take in this league. Overall a real good drop.

DAMN!!! verse of the week. This was flawless in just about every aspect. I loved the style and rhyme scheme you used, flowed very well. The overall storyline ws very creative and the content was just composed beautifully...let me compose myself *hops off nuts*..lol...no but honestly some of the best stuff i've seen from you, nice job.

MC4: Damn... OK... to be honest, the storyline wasn't groundbreaking or anything... a fairly simple story... but the way it was written, was goddamn... fucking christ it was great. So much fucking beautiful imagery, great diction/wording... teeming with an assonance that really drove the piece... I gotta say this was really, really fucking dope. Every now and then I'll read something in this league that reminds me of just how the writing matters just as much as the plot. Fuckin brilliant brother.

Troublesome: This was ok... flow was pretty simple, story was... eh, it was ok... hard to believe he didn't recognize his own son... unless there was some weird extraneous circumstance of his son being incognito or something... a big movie star or something disguised for a quiet visit... I dunno, some instances of malopropism... amoungst (no u also) and enshrouded... stuff like that... this wasn't horrible... just kind of eh... not an outstanding story, not a horrible one either, flow was ok... writing was about par... but nothing really stood out...
