Color (Feel Me)

Stains, dye, imagery, keeps our mind so vivid
Paints lives & centuries of being blind from pigment..
Blue & white collared differences; life's not going accordingly
Not our intention to make minorities lower class majority
Darkness falls within eyes; apart from flaws we're blind
Within time we're overshadowed with laws & fines
Picket signs, boycotts, lynchings, & being labeled
Workshops, livings unstable, & marriages inter-racial
Now, there's cable; the idiot box creating fables
Rap, violence, & COPS? Quickly turns the tables
It's tragedy, society deprived and it's moving rapidly
Want reality? Nike company promoting workers in factories
Yellow, Black, or White; Irish, German, or Greek
Two legs & eyes besides disabilites, yet we still fail to meet..
..on the same level, we agree on seasons, but proud you say?
We can't live on..agreeing on sunlight, winds, & clouds are gray
Arabian, Indian, or •••ish; Light, Dark, or Mulato..
Beating up on Iraq, yet Cubans are struggling with Castro
It's a barrier, it's complicated; the clashing of races
Bush keep's going, while Kerry uses blacks for Democratic races
Without color? We're boring, life means nothing
I mean, no hate, no anger, no ignorance, and no corruption
No bloods, no crips, no KKKs, no extortion
No NAACP, no MTV, No BET, no abortion
No pull-overs, no sentences, maybe no violence..
No Simpson, No Clinton, maybe even no Bryant
But its a dream; I'm crazy to think this shits ending
Or maybe even, I'm crazy for making self-contradictions
I've done it......the racism, the violence, the anger
I've dug society deeper in this time of danger....
Maybe there's no solution to color....why bother..?
Or why solve 'em, or maybe...we all are the problem.
