it was love at first site
she sent chills down my spine - served just right
my words might have sounded slurred and jumbled - but
I was never good with pick up lines
chewing my own thoughts on post - its all crumpled up
...
I rehearsed this scene the night before this
the pressure of my friends
gave me the deulsion - this was something important
at first it seemed secondary to attempt
but from the first night i saw her - i couldnt get her out of my head
...
then, perhaps I know what's making me mad
she's dissappointed in me
I was forgetting all the good nights we had
...
It was so perfect - or so it seemed
sometimes i was untouchable
but when I woke up was truely the dream
white picket fences - built to block my ambitions

holding me until my hand stops twitching

nique's verse was cool.
flow was on point, but the first verse kinda didn't really have anything to do with the last verse. kinda jumbled up and wasn't feeling that.

kml had a sick verse as well.
i liked the way you made it almost seem like a girl or woman, but then related liquor or the alcohol to it. different objects that in essence have the similarities. off kilter flow but the last stanza was my fav.

close battle i think KML edges it though.

nique had a good flow, it was fun to read...but the verse itself wasn't very "on-topic" so to speak.....just kinda bragadocious lol

KML that was an awesome metaphor you had going for ya in the entire verse, short but sweet. Very good flow, nice word choice...well done

kml- for a quick verse this was very solid. the flow was a little hard to catch but after the second time i really got it good. I liked the single words hypenated at the end of some lines that really helped make the piece more descriptive. overal not a bad quick piece

nique- i dont know... it just seemed hard for me to get into your piece. by the time i had gotten into the first stanza/verse? it was over. the second part seemed to be a different topic im not even sure. your flow was solid, structure was basic, i think that you just need more time for writing this seemed rushed.

...i didnt even know what your topic was at first, i just started reading verses...
...flow was a lil tricky, but it worked out ok once i caught it- the way you related the story was beautiful...

KML-wasnt really feeling it to be honest, nothing special in the rhyme scheme, flow wasnt too great or anything, Comparison is played....country music has been doin that shit since the beginning of time,lol, anyway, so yea, too expected and stuff, didnt end it very well either

Nique-dont see what your verse had to do with the topic, but i liked the actual rhyme scheme/flow and all better than KML's, i can see where youre somewhat saying you fight against all the evil or something, or at least it can be percieved like that i mean, but you really made no attempt to stay to the topic

however...
v/Nique, i might be the only one who votes for her, but i just felt she came better in all areas except storyling...which was actually close in my book still since KML's was played, plus hers wasnt as boring

KML excels emotion... articulative poetics to a degree but fails to really grasp me with scenarios, illustrations in words....


NIQUE writes an unorthodox and very presentable verse filled with attributes of the topic and attacks with very very great hard rhymes....


I fail to see what the mindstate of these voters are on... possibly another POETRYTYPE rhyme from KML which makes them soo beautified... which i find utterly trash...

NIQUE has the better rhymestyle and is much more purified hiphop to me.... KML is your basic watered down natural poetical rhyme that everybody does...
