Tony Blair: One thing I noticed right off was in line 5 you say but now twice... something you're gonna wanna try to avoid. A nice topical, I kinda laughed when you went from saying how everyone's gotten better and more PC and shit, then called gay's fuckin' faggots. haha, I hope that was a joke at least, because that's my kinda joke. Flow was on point pretty much throughout, not spectacular, but good... not a huge fan of topicals, but hey, if it works it works.

Methodine: Man, some of this had potential, like where you were talking about christmas, and the kid making new shit for your wife, but some of it was kinda lame... the simpsons part was a stretch... I would've liked to see more of a story... like a toy story thing going maybe, where you could actually move around, and you could've bitched about your wife hating you or something, and how the kid arranged your marriage. haha. Anyways, a few small things, to make shit read more clearly, like, in the second to last line, where it says "before it has ever even began", take out the has, or you'd have to change began to begun... just small things like that, grammar's a bitch, but it's a handy tool to have...

Overall... I think Methodine could've made his topic work if he'd let his imagination take it, but he didn't unfortunately, and wrote a kinda boring verse... it happens, learn from it kid, you have a good foundation there... and Tony Blair took the less travelled road of a topical, and it got him by this time... but be careful about them brotha... not too popular here when you get higher up.

yeah i was feeling meth's verse, it just lacked substance. you had a bunch of directions you could've taken it and it just stopped so suddenly.

tony's verse was pretty thought-provoking and educational. although i feel in the long run that scheme will eventually catch up with you when you go against kids w/ vivid imaginations and sick plot twist makers, i still feel you gave enough to beat meth this week.

Meth, your verse was rather unengaging and somewhat boring. I think you really only have 2 options in an RSTL match... you either make an ill (S)tory, or take a straight stream of thought about a (T)opic. Unfortunately, neither of these was really evident in your verse. You had some potential in the kid as creator line of thought, but then it got a little cliche and pointless towards the end. The absolute biggest complaint I have about your verse is this: "..and I feel like ending this pain...cause my life is just so bleak

How are you gonna complain about wanting to end your pain and then in the next line say that you can't feel pain?! Consistency is extremely important man.

i think match was alot closer than expected...

METH: u caught me emotionally in whole reading this.. however even though it makes me reflect on being 1st person lego man... the problem was ur writing made it a bit dull in NOT catcing more insight and more stronger words and details.... it was i'd say simplistic but not enriched enough... that was one big thing that u had and lacked also --- structure was great and depiction was good... but coulda provided more illustration...

TONY: I had a problem with some of ur words structualy not aligning in rhyme wit the two... although poetically sometimes u do that... but that alone was the trouble i delved in reading ... otherwise... strong and illustrative details... and a concerned emotion was felt with all the examples u threw for the rhyme... it had what METH lacked... and this became sole factor between u two..

meth: nice verse and i thought it was a hard topic to do...but i just found your writing style dull in places, there was no storyline, twist or expression on the whole situation which drew me in. good flow and the vocab was alot better than i expected

blair:nice verse man..i liked hte topic and the way you hit it made it nice to read and interesting...also loving the way you linked it to how it was worse then other things, gave it a nice touch. some of the words didnt quite match but it read nicely and just made up for meth's in whole.

Yeah .. both came pretty nice this week,

Meth: took the original topic, but it was a LOT harder to pull off and althought you did well, you didnt have what it took to really bring in the win this time around. The flow was decent to me, it read smooth .. word choice was decent .. multies and internals would of ••••ed it up no end but it wasnt bad .. i felt you should of put more of a twist into it at the end, but not a bad verse.

Tony: Did well with the topic you chose .. portraid it well, writers voice shone through your verse in my opinion .. nicely worded throughout .. liked the dedication, i didnt expect that at all. Overall you just edged this out, nice battle though fellas.

Methodine: You didn't capture me at all. Your verse was lacking substance, and I just wasn't into what you were writing. Your structure, and flow wasnt that bad just your story was killing me all the way through. By the end I didnt really care what happened because it wasn't that interesting. Again you seem to have a lot of writing skills just focus more on creativity, story, twists and turns.

Tony Blair: Your verse as a whole interested me the whole time. Some of your flow was off a tad at some points, but not enough to make a difference. The topic at hand was although kind of played out still was slightly interesting. You were pretty creative, and had some good twists and turns on the way.

Vote= Tony Blair; Better flow, story, creativity.

meth had an interesting verse...it had lots of possibilities, unfortunately u didnt follow them up..it was just a bit to short...i liked some of the imagery and ideas u discussed though...shoulda expanded...
