numbness covers my body, thinkin my worth is less than dirt
it hurts, and to make it worse, my thirst is what made me cursed
and the coldness is makin my insides, feel like they could burst
bleeding out upon the hillside, noones around no more,.. alone
foreign voices flow, upon the snow, moans encrusted with stone
the tone of men from distant lands, echo throughout the shore
the sounds of pain, sealed in vain, from troops of different corps
and war is foolish, my friends all knew it, me.. tryin to be the hero
ill never grow from this experience, cuz my heartrates almost zero
bestow heaven upon me, served my country, unlike the others
all the mothers, sisters fathers, and not to mention cowardly brothers
all safe within each other, while we fight to ensure their life
and itll take my wife, months to know, that her own husband has died
tryin to keep alive, but gun shots-bombs and death surround my head
why keep on fighting? when the fate of this struggle is for me to be dead
bid farewell to my family, fellow troops, and all that have passed
breath deep thru my nose, exhale slow, cause i know that this was my last
i feel my throat begin to choke, last images float, then i say goodbye..
