--- SEASON I ---
By MCQuriosity
. . .
Needless to say, the RSTL has been a functioning league for quite some time. Many moderators have dedicated their precious time in the past to ensure the progression and success of this league. From Tekneek, the original, to other familiar faces such as Insane Villian, Dic Gets Gully, and TaLi among many others. All of these names and more have shared a role in the growth and success of this league that still continues on today.
From personal recollections, I never thought much of the RSTL in its early years. I took part solely because I loved to write, ending my brief stint with a 12-2 record. But I was a die hard RBL participant, being a 3 time champion, and I never actually took the time to get involved with the league. Now I can honestly say that I sincerely regret my absence from the history of this league.
The RSTL has proven to be of the strongest, if not
the strongest, league that RapMusic.Com has to offer. It has withstood the test of time and only continues to grow in strength and dignity.
It wasn't until the RBL had long been dead and Cereal Killer announced a tournament to revive the life of the once great league that I finally took interest. Soon after, Cereal Killer bailed with his pants at his ankles after suffering a defeat in his own tournament, and I, who had also been defeated, attempted to continue on with the tournament. Of course Jeff, otherwise known as Janitor, could care less about the league's existence and therefore never granted the powers that I had asked for and therefore the tournament failed drastically.
But, I did succeed in sparking the interest of one of RSTL's great competitors, Jook, who would go on to convince Jeff of the need for moderator powers, thus landing us here at the end of our first successful season.
We are now at the dawn of 2008, as well as the beginning of the playoffs and ending of the first season of the new RSTL. I would like to thank Jook for his help and dedication, as well as the rest of the participants and those, whether consistent or not, that have lent a hand in our undying progression. Thank you very much.
Without any further adieu, here are your results for the RSTL Awards of Season I.
. . .
---[ The Lifetime Achievement Award ]---

He has surpassed the century mark for wins under his belt, which is an achievement like no other, and he has also won the most titles among any other participant in the history of the RSTL. Besides these obviously phenomenal records, this participant has also appeared in over 20 title matches with the most title defenses ever while serving for over 120 weeks of competition.
However, despite these more obvious reasons for acknowledgment, the RSTL would like to honor our very own RSTL Great, Vern Acular, with the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to this league and his excellence in writing. He is a profound author and has proven his abilities without question. Also, he is a humble writer given the superfluous amount of skills that he possesses, and he always stands for the right cause. He does not gloat more than necessary nor does he cause needless trouble with freeposts and trash talk. He simply gets the job done, and done quite well at that. The time that he has spent here is greatly appreciated and we, the moderators and the league as a whole, hope that he continues to play a role in the success and enjoyment of this league.
Vern Acular, I proudly and humbly bow my head in your respect as I present to you this coveted award. You, my friend, are truly the definition of not only a great writer, but a great participant, competitor, and human being (on the internet, that is).
Thank you for your dedication and excellence once again.
