VERSES DUE: Sunday12:00am PST/3:00am EST (this means Sunday, early early, start of the morning)
Verses posted after the deadline will not count!

VOTES DUE Tuesday: 12:00am EST PACIFIC 3:00am (also meaning early early morning Tuesday for people in the US)
Votes posted after the deadline will not count!

[*]Verses must incorporate at least one of the provided topics and must be at least 16 lines and must not exceed 64 lines.

[*]During check-in, you can ask your opponent to agree to a line limit (Minimum 16) and if your opponent agrees, Moderators will hold both participants to that limit.

Topic ~ I hate Words


My tactless approach often causes disasters in posts
And half of my folks avoid speaking to me after it's shown
This makes me wish some words would stay trapped in my throat
So I took a class to promote some happier quotes

It was for Anger Management, but I felt like an addict
Enveloped in madness with the new members confessing their actions
Which spoke much louder than words, still the nouns and the verbs...
Were so foul, Gotlife? would've found it absurd
Spitting filthy mountains of dirt out their mouths..... and it hurt
I had to question if they were contestants for Howard Stern
I was highly offended just by the diction they uttered
With racists fags saying that beaners trained their bitches and mothers
For those of you that don't know the truth, it's a slanderous word
Beaner's a reference for Mexicans using their hands to do work
I looked around to see if Latinos were put in this crowd
Then one yells out...
"Damn straight, we keep pussy in house."
People laughed, I couldn't believe that this was casual talk
Because saying that where I'm from, they'd hack off your balls
And hang them from their rearview mirror like they were some dice
Then I realize.... that I'm protruding other stereotypes
A scary design as my vicarious mind wants to escape
Before something they say makes me take a dump on their face
And punch in their brains through ribcages until stomachs inflate

callace, man, show some emotion, I really saw this as being a more elementary level entry into text topicals writing, you're on the right track with short bars and all but you gotta be more creative and really feel what you're writing about, pretty one sided here, Dic came with a pretty solid verse, a bit underdeveloped but it's understandable, as always tho your flow was liquid, good showing

DIC - The multis, flow and your storytelling once again shined. The writing wasnt as crips as some of your last verses in the past weeks but this verse was just as enjoyable. You've got a nack for rhyming, I have trouble coming up with shit week and week out. I liked the way you strated the story, you set the scene, even made a jab at got life? lol. I liked your use of allusions all around, the odb line, the gta line, its just a nice showcase of creativity. And the end was really funny man, I forgot you where the top comedic writer. The whole story was pretty clever, it was really enjoyable.

Nothing really suprising here, Dic came nice, dope rhyming, nice flow... cool conceptually. What I thought was doper than usual was your rhyming, a lot more to the point maybe than what I'm used to reading. Nice piece man... I wish I had time to critique it fully but, perhaps I will in a PM.

Callacedkeys: Nothing here that I can say impressed me, especially up against Dic, your piece was more or less elementary. The rhyming was simple but kind of entertaining in some aspects... everything else was basically leagues beneath Dic as far as writing skill. I'd say, work on developing your pieces a bit more. I can tell you have the capability to rhyme decently, use rhyming to your advantage, this piece was severely limited.

Callaced - for what it was this was decent...there wasn't really a showcase of anything here...just bland writing that had no real sign of much thought put into it...

Dic - this was nothing over the top, but it did the trick for you this week...it had your normally solid elements of writing and it pieced together smoothly...then again even Linxz might have been able to win that one.

It basically shows that you didn't read anything cuz you gave mine a 20 for creativity and I dare you to find another verse written on the subject I just covered...... but you gave Call 40 for the same subject.. that's just plain stupid but regardless of that, you need to read the rules and follow them.
