Verses posted after the deadline will not count!

VOTES DUE Tuesday: 12:00am EST PACIFIC 3:00am (also meaning early early morning Tuesday for people in the US)

[list][*]Check-in (Posting in your match to show that you are aware the match exists) is encouraged but not required.
[*]Verses must incorporate at least one of the provided topics and must be at least 16 lines and must not exceed 64 lines.
[*]Anyone who does not post at least 4 rap lines, incorporating at least one of the provided topics, is considered a no-show.
[*]During check-in, you can ask your opponent to agree to a line limit (Minimum 16) and if your opponent agrees, Moderators will hold both participants to that limit.
[*]Posting between 4-15 lines is considered a “show” but will not result in a match. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent posts between 16-64, you will lose the match but you will remain in the league. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent does not show, you will “Win by no-show”.[/list]

If this reduces the number of matches available for you to vote on to the point where you are unable to vote on at least 4 matches, the point scale will be adjusted according to how many matches you do vote on.
[*]3-ways are inevitable. In order to provide a tie-breaker in a 3-way, you are now required to indicate in what order the contestants finished (1st, 2nd, 3rd).

After PEACE


Benjamin sits on my soleprints, eye’s wit a steady grey tint
My height fixed at five foot-ten inch, now thirty so thirsty I’d drink
Education n facts ‘til I sink, relax then float back in a blink
Of an eye, I’m in sight to win medals for my medical stint
A Canadian weighing in at one sixty pounds and changing
Now my wife’s in town to save me from a case of misbehaving
World War II initiated while we were both situated
In India scared it made it so close our hope could be tainted
Freedom hung in a noose of thorns as I got shipped to Singapore
Impregnable the Brits had sworn, two weeks in n shells swept our shores
Steve, Luke and I decide to hide as more arrive we change our minds
Rush to the waters bloody tide dodging bodies as bullets fly
One enters Luke from behind, no escape or chance to survive
As fate has it I watch him die, hold him tight n wait for sunrise

A Prisoner on foreign land twice as cramped with the flux rampant

It’s much the same each day, a busted face grazed the sick bay
Dedicating my skills n time to stay safe from what kills your mind
Wit forceps n a boning knife inside this monochrome campsite
I alone was just thrown this right wit unknown anodyne supplied
Diphtheria kept men white through one o five sultry sunlight
Since Japs wouldn’t recognize internal pain a plan derived

Today Steve’s leg stepped to the left, I help him stand wit high finesse
He stretches out n holds his breath just as the Jap’s lay guns to rest
I request he moves as a test with B-29’s over head
He smiles at me glad he survived until he sees drums of supplies
Plummet through the roof from allies; our eyes collide before he dies
Combined pain at the moment see cause they crushed both our hopes n dreams
