[list][*]Check-in (Posting in your match to show that you are aware the match exists) is encouraged but not required.
[*]Verses must incorporate at least one of the provided topics and must be at least 16 lines and must not exceed 64 lines.
[*]Anyone who does not post at least 4 rap lines, incorporating at least one of the provided topics, is considered a no-show.
[*]RECYCLING IS NOT STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You may not use any verse that you have previously used within the league at any time. Whether it was a no show, tournament verse recycled for the league or visa versa or any verse that have ever been used within the league perimeters.
[*]During check-in, you can ask your opponent to agree to a line limit (Minimum 16) and if your opponent agrees, Moderators will hold both participants to that limit.
[*]Posting between 4-15 lines is considered a “show” but will not result in a match. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent posts between 16-64, you will lose the match but you will remain in the league. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent does not show, you will “Win by no-show”.[/list]
Voting:[list][*]If you do not show you can still vote and post the links in your match to receive full voting points. In addition, if you do not show, yet vote on at least 4 matches (Or, every match available, should there be less than 4 matches to vote on) you will remain in the league.
[*]Votes must be hidden! To hide a vote, first thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. The last thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, a backslash “/”, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. Unhidden votes will not count towards the match or towards your vote requirements.
[*]No second chance votes! Editing votes for any reason must be approved by mods and explained in reason for editing.
[*]No bias votes! If you have a personal investment in wanting someone to lose, whether because that member voted against you once, or you just don’t like that person, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match. If have a personal investment in wanting someone to win, whether because they’re crew member, or because you want to face that person in the next week’s brackets, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match.
[*]”Bias” must be confirmed by a Moderator.
[*]If there is a match which you will not be able to vote on, due to “Bias” of any type, state so within your match prior to Verses Due Deadline. If this reduces the number of matches available for you to vote on to the point where you are unable to vote on at least 4 matches, the point scale will be adjusted according to how many matches you do vote on.
[*]3-ways are inevitable. In order to provide a tie-breaker in a 3-way, you are now required to indicate in what order the contestants finished (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
anyone who does not show or vote is suspended one week and must sign-in again to be inserted the following week.[/list]

damn, ah man i cant believe this shit agian
i clutch my fist, get pissed, another job in the wind
i worked so hard, they never gave me respect
but what gets me so much is what the payed on the check
holidays around the corner, no money to buy gifts
thanksgiving on the way, guess i cant eat shit
my cars fucked, plus i'm behind on pay a light bill
i freakin out, goin crazy but my girlfrineds like "chill"
so much on my shoulder, not jus a chip
cus i'm starvin and if it was, i would eat that bitch
my boss sayin "your a good worker, but we dont need you son"
well when they say now hiring, they need to specify for bums
i did so much for them, skip my fam for overtime
been there for 3 years, and lose my job over-night
got so much to pay, in so little time
i get a lil crazy and think, "if i run up in that bitch they'll gimme mine"
put my hand on the gun, then my son runs in the room
looked at him and said, "son, this is about what i can do for you"
he says, "DAD NO!, dont go, i need you more than the money
cus they might take you from me", it showed me that he loved me
sat the gun down even though i want it bad

FOLLOW THE LEADER

She sits as a dainty satin scarf touches her arm,
problems of the day now seem nothing but gone.
a smothering calm has consumed her senses,
an engaging suprise, and she smiles in a way he misses.
so she raises up and faces to kiss when,
by the waist she's lifted like a crane against him.
now she feels so safe and wants to stay suspended,
nose open, prisoner of love wit sedated intrests.
and the way they invisioned this phase just isnt...
isnt reality, isnt the way that temptation visits.
nerves begin to take full control of the scene,
she's wonderin; ' why's he showin her more emotion than me?'
now consolement she needs, and its crazy since,
this whole 3some thing was supposed to save THEIR relationship.
hair missplaced and shit, sweaty bodys in motion,
and she's wishing that she never even thought of the notion.
so she excuses herself and heads to the shower,
inside she cries and outside in the room they're in the bed an hour.
her head in the towel, mind faultered from start,
now she thinks its incintive to grow further apart.
and she remembers exactly the words that had sparked,
see she said follow the leader, and it cost her, her heart.
