[list][*]Check-in (Posting in your match to show that you are aware the match exists) is encouraged but not required.
[*]Verses must incorporate at least one of the provided topics and must be at least 16 lines and must not exceed 64 lines.
[*]Anyone who does not post at least 4 rap lines, incorporating at least one of the provided topics, is considered a no-show.
[*]RECYCLING IS NOT STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You may not use any verse that you have previously used within the league at any time. Whether it was a no show, tournament verse recycled for the league or visa versa or any verse that have ever been used within the league perimeters.
[*]During check-in, you can ask your opponent to agree to a line limit (Minimum 16) and if your opponent agrees, Moderators will hold both participants to that limit.
[*]Posting between 4-15 lines is considered a “show” but will not result in a match. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent posts between 16-64, you will lose the match but you will remain in the league. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent does not show, you will “Win by no-show”.[/list]
Voting:[list][*]If you do not show you can still vote and post the links in your match to receive full voting points. In addition, if you do not show, yet vote on at least 4 matches (Or, every match available, should there be less than 4 matches to vote on) you will remain in the league.
[*]Votes must be hidden! To hide a vote, first thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. The last thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, a backslash “/”, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. Unhidden votes will not count towards the match or towards your vote requirements.
[*]No second chance votes! Editing votes for any reason must be approved by mods and explained in reason for editing.
[*]No bias votes! If you have a personal investment in wanting someone to lose, whether because that member voted against you once, or you just don’t like that person, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match. If have a personal investment in wanting someone to win, whether because they’re crew member, or because you want to face that person in the next week’s brackets, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match.
[*]”Bias” must be confirmed by a Moderator.
[*]If there is a match which you will not be able to vote on, due to “Bias” of any type, state so within your match prior to Verses Due Deadline. If this reduces the number of matches available for you to vote on to the point where you are unable to vote on at least 4 matches, the point scale will be adjusted according to how many matches you do vote on.
[*]3-ways are inevitable. In order to provide a tie-breaker in a 3-way, you are now required to indicate in what order the contestants finished (1st, 2nd, 3rd).

Awake in a dream, racing through this desolate place,

If it's a straight shot, why do I pace on aimlessly?

Tumbling as the graceful breeze takes the lead.
I breathe deep, and my thoughts start breaking free
Cause it amazes me how great minds fill up on vacancies,
And I wonder...
Maybe that's just how we're trained to be.
A vicious waste of things
That patiently await their fates to tame the beast,
Our brain, a beast that preys on human nature's innate deceit.
Manipulating our darkest scenes as we lay asleep,
Creating screams when the darkness creeps
Awfully, like a disease
Into the thoughts of a monster and sparks a fiend,
Until it's hard to see,
And lives start getting ripped apart at seams.
Madness traveling to the farthest reach
To self-destruct our mindstate and start to preach
Some self-help to these helpless fucks
So they can take advantage of people that relish trust.
Caught in this devil's clutch
While his Hellish touch causes consciences to melt to dust
And sway the actions of factions that have felt the fuss.
But don't just brush it back,
We have to play the hand that's dealt to us.
Even if it's a lust you have, for violence or to crush and smash.
A vote that's tough to cast for happiness we'd love to have
So we cut and slash
Just to escape the grips of a drunken dad.
This stuff is bad...
Abuse, molesting, I've had enough it's sad
So the conclusion I've come to have is justly that:
The cruelest killer is but a shadow of a rougher past.

No...I no longer want to live, honestly
want to give birth, to the earth that is naturally,
cursed with such a famine of lost custody..
the gust of winds rushing me, from the thoughts
that budge and leave...in knots..my body is formed..
from ideology, karma is caused from the kamikaze
the earth is made out to be, lives are lost..
body ruts productively, tear ducts are dry, and frail..
i try to bail from the torturing grasps of mormons,
forcing their religion, starting from a collision..
of peace keepers, and false visions diminished, from
perceptive incisions, bidding on lifes hope..
but in this certain game, theirs no winning, just white coke
in a bag, being sniffed in, from nostrils of victums
and lost clones sickened to live on the streets..
theirs souls been lifted, but their body isn't to keep,
their children just weep, malnutrition kicks in ..
they door, and hits them like abusive parents, and
the government system is lacking, mal practicing ..
abstinence, stabs them in their abdomen badly,
the fold under pressure, selling coke off of their dresser..
of their homes, cus their mothers have bad
supervision, alone...they can't condone any further..
their bones, pierce their skin, as dark as night, thinned..
no light, dare enters this part of their concience..
their bright, but their forearms are as skinny as twigs..
the poverty, i wish i could win, but this obviously..
is weighing down the shoulders of me and others,
cousins and brothers, fight for the freedom ..turn
to books, but their fathers didn't teach them..shiiit..

[hide]this was a tough battle... best battle ive seen so far this week, but i havent peeped the champ match yet... Return, u had a good multi pattern working there and in some places it seemed a tad bit forced as the rhyming pattern took a little bit away from the content, imo, however i loved it because i like to see multis...

Got life came with a realistic piece about how the world is going downhill and i have to admit i liked THAT as well...

however it comes down to this..., the returns flow pattern was flawless, Got Life had a few holes in his rhyme scheme... not HUGE holes, but little pieces like

i see what u were trying to do with this, but it didnt work in my humble opinion...

better rhyme scheme and imagery, but i think that if got life would have used more of his writers voice, that he usually does, this could have went either way...
