[list][*]Check-in (Posting in your match to show that you are aware the match exists) is encouraged but not required.
[*]Verses must incorporate at least one of the provided topics and must be at least 16 lines and must not exceed 64 lines.
[*]Anyone who does not post at least 4 rap lines, incorporating at least one of the provided topics, is considered a no-show.
[*]RECYCLING IS NOT STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You may not use any verse that you have previously used within the league at any time. Whether it was a no show, tournament verse recycled for the league or visa versa or any verse that have ever been used within the league perimeters.
[*]During check-in, you can ask your opponent to agree to a line limit (Minimum 16) and if your opponent agrees, Moderators will hold both participants to that limit.
[*]Posting between 4-15 lines is considered a “show” but will not result in a match. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent posts between 16-64, you will lose the match but you will remain in the league. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent does not show, you will “Win by no-show”.[/list]
Voting:[list][*]If you do not show you can still vote and post the links in your match to receive full voting points. In addition, if you do not show, yet vote on at least 4 matches (Or, every match available, should there be less than 4 matches to vote on) you will remain in the league.
[*]Votes must be hidden! To hide a vote, first thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. The last thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, a backslash “/”, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. Unhidden votes will not count towards the match or towards your vote requirements.
[*]No second chance votes! Editing votes for any reason must be approved by mods and explained in reason for editing.
[*]No bias votes! If you have a personal investment in wanting someone to lose, whether because that member voted against you once, or you just don’t like that person, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match. If have a personal investment in wanting someone to win, whether because they’re crew member, or because you want to face that person in the next week’s brackets, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match.
[*]”Bias” must be confirmed by a Moderator.
[*]If there is a match which you will not be able to vote on, due to “Bias” of any type, state so within your match prior to Verses Due Deadline. If this reduces the number of matches available for you to vote on to the point where you are unable to vote on at least 4 matches, the point scale will be adjusted according to how many matches you do vote on.
[*]3-ways are inevitable. In order to provide a tie-breaker in a 3-way, you are now required to indicate in what order the contestants finished (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
anyone who does not show or vote is suspended one week and must sign-in again to be inserted the following week.[/list]

Karma is a bitch

"Rockabye Robby" he stared from the cradle to his mothers face
knowing that his father was not there - gone to another place
taught at a young age through abandonment to hate his pops
his father had no hand in raising him, but still the cradle rocked

Robert thought karma was life
it leads you far away from drama and strife
so he walked with his arms to his sides
and never looked down
unless to compare all his wrongs and his rights.
when he pondered this, Robert got lost in his lies
but that was a grave thought without a coffin implied.
he often despised bein a cop in his prime
stoppin crimes and dealin with bein a watch dog on the side

Such a man of respect.. using karma to abondon the stress
but began to get panicky from his gambling debts
sparks flyin - or hot iron brandin his chest
and the worst part he hadn't even started his family yet
peeking out the window with the slightest observation
he might have thought to skate but his wife was ovulatin
a tear drops, he wipes it off his face
the tension was too tight for conversation
his wife was not afraid, tonight he sighed and stop the pacin
but he felt it right inside, even despite her loss of patience
and since he tied the knot he'd confide in god's relation

He'd been advised by his boss, to cut off all ties to the mob
it was said "that's the easiest way possible to die in this job"
- two weeks later, in his driveway a black Mercedes
he looked out and scatched at his face like a cat with rabies
his wife looked deep in his eyes and said
"im gonna have your baby"
at the same time a knock on the door
"you better have some cash to pay me"
so he grabbed his lady, told her to hide in the attic
at the same time as he considered flight from the panic
hoped for a drunk pickup, the man was sober
he opened the door and a gruff voice said "hand it over"
reached in his pocket knowing that the package was light
on the mans side a gat was in sight so he gasped and replied
"Ill have the rest tommorow, guess I was quick to propose"
but before he finished his thought BLAM a fist to his nose
as he tried to stand up, another punch "GOD FUCKIN DAMN!!!"
and more cries were replies to the hammer that crushed his hands

a year later, a baby boy.. the couple concieved
Robert still shameful of his troubles with greed
suttle indeed, but look what karma had brought
so he hugged his child -
at least they hadn't tied his arms in a knot
but he fell to the ground and cried from stress
there one reason he couldn't put his mind to rest
he tossed his thoughts around like a hot potatoe
and layed his elbows knee width across the table
he began to wish his run in with the mob was fatal
cuz on one hand he loved his child
but on the other hand - they weren't even strong enough to rock the cradle
