Introduction

We have a lot of talent in the league right now and matches are getting to be very enjoyable to read and see the outcome of great verses put against one another. Crews have made a nice comeback as well with Bad Guys consisting of Pain, GotLife? and R3d Rum, Keg Party with Sacrifice, Pent up, Baron and TheReturn and of course SMO with Archive, Notik, Tali and me, but we're an old crew. Just perserve unbiased outcomes, there was a rule imposed months ago only allow 2 crew votes in any match. Any more than that just seems unfair. I have to insure that everyone is given a fair match that isn't persuaded by bias votes for crew control.

Last week, the champ match was tainted and resulted in it being closed early and not counting, losing a mod and a valued writer signing out. That's some tragic shit so I'm asking yall if Fold deserves a rematch against Mr. Mynd without prejudice. The thread is posted with a poll to see how everyone is feeling about a possible rematch if Fold wants that with a fair outcome that won't be modified with bias tampering.

I've asked yall what you think about that and you all seem to have no issue with editing a verse cuz of something you'd think as swaying because it gives info on the verse. Lol, I find that odd. A title of verse does the same thing and also effects how a verse is judged and I'd be highly offended if someone editted out my title and said it was biased in the middle of voting. How is that fair? Aren't we allowed to put what we want in our verses? Swaying to me means specifically stating your verse is better or badly talking about the opponent's verse, which is in the rules and punished by taking away votes. Editting verses for swaying with it's content isn't what this league is about yall. If you have a problem with the way a verse is written, then I suggest you adjust and plan to write better. Lol, it's just plain and simply not right and it goes against everything in having freedom to write what you want. It's your choice to write it so that's my motto, write want you want. If it doesn't break any rules, I can't be enforcing that something is wrong with it.

Baron gets to keep his title tho and Fold is gone for now at least so there's not much to make this right, but this is for future reference because it won't happen again. If I were to do that, then I'd have to take one away from Baron's previous win where he summarized a crime (child molestation) that taken place and was the real incident of his verse. On the same grounds that Fold was robbed, Baron used to his advantage with not only posting a link to the actual crime, but stating specifics on the real crime as well. So tell me this, don't you feel like a hypocrite Mr. Mynd? Just looking at your match against Vigil, you did the same thing. Lmao, you mothafuckas are a trip. There's an ending statement, it's not in rhyme form so I know it's not verse formatted, that one country's heros shit.... You can't say you didn't do the same thing....... oh well, it's over now I guess. I suggest yall try to read the rules because if you don't know them, you can't follow them well. Let the contraversy begin I guess. Lol, that's what you mothafuckas love anyway..... You ninjas crack me the fuck up.

From my investigations of these unfair and cheating actions though, Fold will be given a higher ranking when he signs in because this proves how biased the decision to edit his verse, when the accuser, baron mynd, has done the same exact thing more than once in just a few weeks. The reason I don't see fit for a rematch is because ranks were done improperly in prior weeks and Fold shouldn't of been facing a champ match so soon with Baron when Baron had already beaten him 2 weeks befoe this match and after that loss, Fold was ranked only one ranking behind Baron. I'm just gonna mention that I didn't do ranks that week and leave it alone..... lol..... My executive decision is that Fold will return at a higher rank if he returns to the league. It's only fair considering all the facts just provided to yall.

On the brighter side, Keg Party has a great set of writers and Baron is still good with the skills as far I'm concerned. Out of the top 4 people ranked, 3 of them are Keg Party members with only Vigil excluded from that. Impressive stats, but SMO is back in the league too ninjas. Haha, chea.... There will be a crew battle taking place shortly between Keg Party and SMO like I mentioned last week, but it's almost ready to start now.

This will be a shorter mag as we undergo some changes within the league that you have noticed.

Matches of the Fuckin Week

Interesting matches this week and I mean that in a good way. Several nice verses to choose from in deciding which matches were the best for me to review.



Shrug Vs. Sacrifice
Contenders: 3. Sacrifice 7-1 Vs. 4. Shrug 5-1

A nice match of of co-crew members as they hold nice flows and good development through narrations.

Sacrifice gave a nicely put topical piece on life. With his roads of life scheme, he was able to voice a nice verse on the colorful choices of life, both good and bad. The way he displayed this was poetical with colors used metaphorically twisted into his content that I thought was pretty nicely developed. Some of it seemed vague and some of it seen kinda drawn, but the narrative voice was nice and almost sounded like a motivational speech. With examples of war and victums to comparisons of religious belifes with demonic shit steering ways, but still searching and finding God, this was a thought provoking piece if you got into the content. The rhymes displayed in this made it a great read as well with a format that changed in places, but still kept a readable approach to see how it was done....and just lots of inners and multies thoughout most of it. Well done man

Shrugs did a depressing scheme of suicidal person as he falls through a downward spiral of existence and goes through several emotions with attempting to erase that life. Narration had agreat voice and a very mature way to voice it all. It was very decriptive in exactly what was going on. The character of the guy was well developed and the girl was too so there connection was felt. The ending of this relationship over societal beliefs was very mature as well and showed a nice realistic portrayal, then it went straight into depression mode and suicial feelings. An attempt at suicide was the main climax of this story and that was told nicely as well. At first, I was thinking this moved slowly and I think that's just because the content didn't move me much as far as the emphasis of the verse. It moved at an okay pace though and the way it was formatted and narrated were great too.

TheReturn Vs. Ribonucleus
15. Thereturn 10-3 Vs. 16. Ribonucleus 8-4

TheReturn, your narration was pretty natural as it was told as the person fuckin the best friend's girl. Flow was cool, some of it in the start was kinda redundantly saying the same thing, I guess this was to place emphasis on you being a home wrecker. Lol, anyway though, as it continued, the content got pretty interesting and exciting. The girl getting fucked up by ya boy, coming to your place and grabbing your shit, you driving down to his house.... all nicely developed in this story format to move the story along nicely. All the characters were developed nicely, but using names would of helped identify with your characters a bit more I believe. Enjoyable read though..... down to the last part, I was wanting to read it all without a moment of boredom, consistently pulling me into everything that was displayed. Great imagery and outline.

Ribonucleus, man this was nicely worded. The narration of this was very witty and impressing in it's rhyme format as well.

I don't hardly ever quote lines, but damn that one was nice as fuck. There were several impressively worded lines like that to make me just feel the content of this. Nothing felt forced, pretty natural voice and well told topical format with the kind of shit that I was expecting you. Tied together nicely around your overall subject had me really loving this. The metaphors used were nicely done and conveyed your message in a great scape throughout the verse and this would probably go nicely as a audio piece cuz I can imagine this being done to a beat.

There's been a lot of new faces and new crews enter the RSTL and get formed from the family we've got here. Just like a family, some of us don't get along, some of are loved while others hated and various other judgemnts are given to our crew families inside of our RSTL fam.....

With the awakening of Keg Party signing a lot of the newest RSTL talents, Bad Guys of Pain and Lifeless signing R3D RUM who seems to be a pretty nice writer, of course SMO, but a lot of new SMO members have only recently been competing in the league.... there's a lot of new shit to consider within this crew system that we have going on and a lot of new members are more than likely going to want to add to and form their own crews. Elite has been a crew of nice writers and they've picked up a new member recently as well.... Claus... lol......... he fits the schematic of that squad. A big mouthed punk that cries about shit, but is unwilling to do a damn thing about it in way of helping and holds onto what he's done in the 'past' when he can't do that shit in the present..... lmao

Well, with that recent addition, I guess Elite is trying to make a comeback as all the other crews attempt to prove themselves continually with wins and shit. With me and Tali as current mods, I thought I should bring in a voice of difference to help me in the modding situation and so I've braught a new member to that crew from another crew.... Insanevillian. IV has been mod of the RSTL, RBL so I'm sure he knows how to do the things that we need and his outgoing personality, that sounded weak, his gully ass way of texting.... better, should go along with the scheme of things that I have in place now.

So..... new crews are being made, old crews are coming back. The RSTL Mod Squad - My Crew has a new member coming shortly in IV.

Some of you might be thinking that me and IV won't and don't get along and I've thought the same thing, but as long as I have a dedicated person to work with, I don't care of we don't like each other, we're both working for the same goal..... improving the league. All of the other shit is just shit. There's a lot of good and interesting things that could happen from this, but you'll have to wait and see how it works out. Pent prolly isn't gonna like who I've replaced him with, but shit happens and that's still my ninja.

I’m sure D.I.C. & Pent would like us all to put this behind us. Well, too bad because I haven’t really had my say yet, and well, I had to find something to write about this week, so here it is.

As far as I'm concerned, this entire situation sucks 360 with the only really loser being Baron Mynd for losing a win/defense. Quick recap: Fold posted verse and summarized the main points of his verse for all intents and purposes (note: this ISN’T against the rules). From my understanding, Baron Mynd may or may not have reported this to a moderator thinking that perhaps it could be construed as swaying. So far, nothing wrong has happened.

So then, Pent up, being the mod that was notified, looked at the ‘discretion’ and, for all I know, honestly thought Baron had a point. Maybe I’m wrong and it was intentionally dishonest, but the only person who knows that is Pent, not I, not DIC, not Fold.

Even though I semi-understand Pent’s reasoning, I don't think Pent should have edited that out. It wasn't swaying for Fold to put what he put; it was just WEAK. People have put explanations to verses in rhymes before and it was never a problem except for the person posting it because, from all of my experience, it always seems like that ends up being the reason why a person doesn’t win and never the reason a person does. Anyways…

Pent did something he wasn't supposed to do. I get that part. What I don't understand, however, is the knee-jerk response to the whole thing. I wouldn't even categorize this under the "abuse of mod powers" card. I think a more or less fuzzy rule was misinterpreted. Granted, it looks shitty that Pent is in the same crew as Baron Mynd. Perhaps that is where Fold is coming from with his argument. I understand that too, but again, unless I knew for sure, I wouldn’t have made a deal out of it.

Furthermore, I would never fool myself into believing that an explanation of a verse is the reason I’m winning or losing a battle. Yes, the voting was one way before and one way after the edit, but there were respectable voters on both sides of the switch and to act like the voter would have voted for you because of your post verse explanation defies reason in my mind, which may or may not be saying much. To me, that is nothing less than an insult to your fellow RSTLers. Nevertheless, that is all just my opinion. I’m not saying you are wrong for complaining about the edit (one which I’ve already said was unnecessary). At the same time, give me a break dude.

Ok so, I also have an issue with how this was handled from D.I.C.’s point of view. Maybe he knows something that I don’t, but from my experience, Pent uP hasn’t ever really been one to do something as blatant as influencing a match for a crewmate or anyone else he likes. He’s never done that for me. Maybe he doesn’t like me. Either way, as far as I know, this is the first time he’s done this and I like I said before, I don’t really think it was that egregious of a mistake. In my humble ass opinion, D.I.C., you overreacted. Overreacted in this sense; Fold has a complaint, you check it out, and you deem it to be fucked up, but in doing so, you completely shitted on any goodwill Pent built up to that point. To give a fellow mod and someone you know better than most folks on here NO BENEFIT of the doubt seems really one-sided, like it was an impulsive decision, I guess that’s all I’m saying.

To have Pent de-modded for that is absurd. I’ve broken that same dumb ass rule by editing people’s votes to make them hidden. I guess that means I should be de-modded. You break the ‘no mod beefing’ rule just about every other day. That doesn’t mean you should be de-modded. You’re doing what I did the end of last year, carrying the entire fucking league on your shoulders with minimal help. I commend you for that, but shit, having Pent de-modded for that is just petty to me and I realize that is a decision from higher-ups. I saw the thread. It was still a big ass over-reaction to me. That is, unless, you know something else I don’t know. If that’s the case, tell me and I’ll probably think differently about it lol.

Pent, it’s a shame you’re gone over this dumb ass shit. DIC, the league is looking as good as it has since late last year and all the props in the world for that; I just think you were harsh (maybe a warning or something would have done the trick). Fold, again, I get it from a technical standpoint, but please, stop insulting our collective intelligence. Baron, sorry man, that’s pretty shitty. Entire league, this should be the last thread where any of us get into this shit ever again lol. It was a tiny thing that got blown way the fuck up out of proportion and everybody, including myself, wants to have their say. I’ve had mine, you have yours. Let’s move on.

Just a side note to Tali's article


1. Pent was given several chances to correct his mistake and chose against it. He still refuses to even apologize to Fold, which is his choice though.

2. Baron wasn't cheated out of shit because he not only is a hypocrite for doing this... he has at least 2 verses with summaries at the end, one of them being a full paragraph and link for further review.

3. I'm not gonna have a power struggle with any mod. If I make a choice based on something that's happened, that's it..... period. it's not debateable. Like I said, he refused to do what I said to correct the mistake so he had to go.

So 4... the person that was cheated out of a proper title... is Fold. not Baron.... but whatever. Fold is gone and so is the peace.
