[list][*]Check-in (Posting in your match to show that you are aware the match exists) is encouraged but not required.
[*]Verses must incorporate at least one of the provided topics and must be at least 16 lines and must not exceed 64 lines.
[*]Anyone who does not post at least 4 rap lines, incorporating at least one of the provided topics, is considered a no-show.
[*]RECYCLING IS NOT STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You may not use any verse that you have previously used within the league at any time. Whether it was a no show, tournament verse recycled for the league or visa versa or any verse that have ever been used within the league perimeters.
[*]During check-in, you can ask your opponent to agree to a line limit (Minimum 16) and if your opponent agrees, Moderators will hold both participants to that limit.
[*]Posting between 4-15 lines is considered a “show” but will not result in a match. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent posts between 16-64, you will lose the match but you will remain in the league. If you post 4-15 lines, and your opponent does not show, you will “Win by no-show”.[/list]
Voting:[list][*]If you do not show you can still vote and post the links in your match to receive full voting points. In addition, if you do not show, yet vote on at least 4 matches (Or, every match available, should there be less than 4 matches to vote on) you will remain in the league.
[*]Votes must be hidden! To hide a vote, first thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. The last thing you type in your reply is a bracket “[“, a backslash “/”, the word “hide” and end bracket “]”. Unhidden votes will not count towards the match or towards your vote requirements.
[*]No second chance votes! If your vote has been edited, even it was only to hide it, your vote will not count towards the match or towards your vote requirements.
[*]No bias votes! If you have a personal investment in wanting someone to lose, whether because that member voted against you once, or you just don’t like that person, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match. If have a personal investment in wanting someone to win, whether because they’re crew member, or because you want to face that person in the next week’s brackets, whatever the reason, do not vote in the match.
[*]”Bias” must be confirmed by a Moderator.
[*]If there is a match which you will not be able to vote on, due to “Bias” of any type, state so within your match prior to Verses Due Deadline. If this reduces the number of matches available for you to vote on to the point where you are unable to vote on at least 4 matches, the point scale will be adjusted according to how many matches you do vote on.
[*]3-ways are inevitable. In order to provide a tie-breaker in a 3-way, you are now required to indicate in what order the contestants finished (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
anyone who does not show or vote is suspended one week and must sign-in again to be inserted the following week.[/list]

Bet i get landed wit another no-show

Pity within

I remember ya face, has my emotions runing
elapsing each other, I tried but I collapsed my brother
Was a rainy night and the roads were sloshy
Felt cold air, the breeze put me alseep softly
Made me think wot happened after was a nightmare
Our car collided and I smelt death in the night air
A scene of horror, a cold night but it seemed so hotter
Or was that just the petrol from the tank running awol?
My best freind was driving, the steering wheel hindered him
Windows had caved in, the petrol smell was lingering
My seathbelt was loose, was my ticket to freedom
So I had to use my initiave and break free youll probally
hate me...
But I had to leave him whilst in a state of noiseau
Flames licking the car whilst it remained sitting ajar
Phoned the emergency services, was told to stay calm
How, when my freinds face immitated victims of napalm
They was on their way, an emotional reassurance
Whilst my brains reassurance was colliding with what ifs
This shit was out of control, air stained with thick black smoke
I only wish that bloke driving had never sniffed that coke
My best freind was paying the price of it, a burning entrapment
Caused by a man who isnt even sorry for his actions...fool
The Fire brigade sirens paraded through the air
Filled with happiness I immediatlety felt a scare
As the fire intensified I heard curdiling screams
That deafened every on goer, his fate had been sealed
I stood back n gasped as I saw him get killed
Haunting me in my dreams the smell of burning flesh
Rupturing my inner thoughts and turning necks of people
watching, forced behind barriers, seeing hose pipe carriers
Dousing imminant flames that couldnt be tamed
Causing a night of fear thats at war with my brain
Crippled with pity as the smoke touched the stars
As I think back I wish I woulda died in that car.............

YOUR OPPONENT HAS TO AGREE TO THE LINE LIMIT FOR IT TO BE SOMETHING ENFORCED TO FOLLOW BY BOTH OF YOU. OTHERWISE HE CAN DROP AS MANY AS THE MAX LINE LIMIT OF 64LINES.

WALKING IN A MEMORY

footsteps in the sand, put fresh in the land i sense she's near
her soft lavender smell lingers a minute then disappears
the waves crash at my feet fast as i reach the front of the fishing peer
i look down to see coins of prayer, there's a bank of wishes here
it gets severe on the horizon's a storm that submits a fear
hits my ear the tide slides in my eyes begin dripping tears
i remember like yesterday but lets just say that it's been years
since we cheered and laughed together...
it's true...
nothing lasts forever...

the past was better....
we met here in this same spot
everyday it remained hot so we'd come we're the waves stopped
i stayed blocks from the fishing peer she lived by the grey rocks
right next to the bay docks, that's where we would play lots
she said that you may not, when i asked for a kiss
so i just i told her i was joking then we laughed for a bit
even though inside my open mind distracted a bit
i couldn't help it i was selfish the attraction was quick
i actually flipped, we stared at each other hugggin but sittin still
i made a move, leaning in to see how her lips would feel
we kissed for real, she jerked back the reaction intense i spilled
the beans and told her i loved her, but was hit by glimpse of guilt
she closed her eyes it sent a chill, through my spine of mixed emotions
when she replied the same i swear her words echoed within the ocean
i didn't know this, but she said that i thought that you didn't notice
i said that you must be joking cause girl you dismiss my focus
but...
the kiss was bogus, it was too good to be true
my summer thing was just a fling because she soon would be doomed
a bluer lagoon, one night in the room it consumed
my heart completely we amde love a beautiful view
but who woulda knew, the lady of my dreams was a lie
she had a secret it seemed as if deciet was her crime
she pushed her off the dock i was shocked she proceeded to cry
after she told me i didn't know rather to believe or deny
i fell in love with a murderer, the truth was hard to see in my eyes
but she wasn't pushed she jumped and there left bleeding to die
was the girl i kissed, to find out she wasn't even alive
she was a dream in my mind, but actually an angel in the flesh
who i made a promise to before in which i gave with every breath
i fell in love with a spirit my heart remained within my chest
my life with her was great so i guess that ima take it to my death
