This week was not really a good week, but it was decent.
We got some new cats signed up, like Mets from bboys.
I saw that WBL is down, & that's attracting some cats to here.
That site been down for weeks like Super in the ranks.
But jeah, i hope some more dope cats sign up.
Arizcatz signed out, so we lost some competition.
But Odin is back in this week so it's all gravy, baby.
Butler won his first RBL title this week.
But it's only cuz John Hensley no showed.
I explain that shit in the Battle Reviews.
Imperial had a nice verse this week in the Contendership.
There was still too many no shows tho.
U muhfuckas need to work on showing for ya battles!
I mean, why sign up if ya just gonna no show?
That's like exact change.. it don't make sense.
But whatever is whatever.. us mods will keep doin our part.
So ya'll man-up, & do ur part, bitches.

Battle Reviews: by eyedeal

John Hensley vs. Butler
Butler won his first RBL title.
He had a pretty dope verse this week.
But John Hensley no showed like a little bitch lol.
So, Butler's title win doesn't really count, technically.
But he has a chance to defend it this week.
& prove to everybody that he deserves to be the champ.

Imperial vs. Ribonuclease
Imp had a very nice verse this week.
It seemed like he put more time into this one.
I was feelin his opener, & Hi-C punches the most.
Ribo's opener was pretty nice too.
The rest was cool but i got the feelin it was rushed.
Maybe Ribo didn't put alot of time into his verse.
Anyways, Imp came out on top in the end.

H.I.v. vs. Pharaohe Def
H.I.v. had an ok verse.
I felt some of the lines, but some were too basic.
P Def had a pretty solid verse tho.
I was feelin his frenzy line, & his midsection lines
P Def won this one pretty easy.

LM vs. Daedal
Daedal won by a no show.
LM pussied out like a little beotch.

nah son vs. wreck'n'eyez
Wreck'n'eyez opener was pretty dope.
The rest was either decent or too basic.
I must say wreck has good setups tho lol.
As for nah son, he had a nice verse.
I was really feelin his dear punchline line.
As well as his Odin, & the Rosa Parks lines.
In the end nah son came out on top.

Who? Clayfac3 vs. Super
Double no show.
They must of went to the zoo together.
U know how Clayfac3 & Super get down.

ToTwoToo vs. Young Philly
Philly could've worded his opener better.
His earth & bury ya lines made up for it tho.
ToTwoToo didn't have anything i liked.
Maybe he rushed his verse, iono lol.
Young Philly won this one with ease.

Yung Impression vs. SpeKTRum2001
Yung Impression won by a no show.
SpeKTRum came in the thread sayin he was sick.
Then he tried to drop a verse, & dropped like 2 lines lol.
Shit was mad wack, but get well soon dookie.

Macmili vs. Arizcatz
Macmili's verse was pretty wack.
& that's all i can say about that.
Arizcatz had a nice verse.
I felt his opener, & his broad selection lines.
& his milimeter line was cool too.
In the end Arizcatz won this battle with ease.

Criteria vs. A-bomb inabowl
A-bomb inabowl won by no show.
I guess Criteria don't have the guts to show when his opponent does.
we'll see what happens with 'em next week tho.

This is like the 100th time WhoDizzle no showed.

This was a pretty weak battle.
BlAcK had a few decent lines.
None are really worth a mention tho.
Dust-1 didn't have any lines i liked.
So BlAcK won in the end.

Mets had a pretty nice verse.
I was feelin his Pettitte, & C-3PO lines.
pencILL aka opshins verse was decent.
I liked his personal about ••••••.
That was the only line worth a mention tho.
Mets won this battle pretty easy.

Although this isn't the best Butler verse i've seen it was good enough
to get verse of the week....the was a tie for runner up this week between Ariz
and Imp..Ariz wasn't as consistant as he usually is and Imp focused to much on
dissing his opponents ability to do good punches which took away from getting
verse of the week but those 2 verses still stood out above the rest and
Butler snatched the title this week of having Verse of the week..deal with it

Battle of the week: by defcon_5

Mets vs pencILL

RBL Wk11: 37. Mets 0-0 vs. 38. pencILL 0-1 here's the match

-My comment-
The reason this gets match of the week is because both of these
battler came with good verses..they were about evenly matched to me,
both had nice punches and wordplay and flow..in all the other
matches it was either one person was good or they both sucked
so these 2 walk away with the match of the week

I personally hate that new no-show rule..
if u no show u should be kicked out the league..
i mean how hard it is to write 10-12 lines in 5 days?
Hell u could do that in 5 minutes..

Im not one of those idiots who goes around saying MY SITE is BETTER than YOURS,
but what i will say is that •••••• has alot of quality texcees who have been around the net
and no their shit.. with that said, the league is lookn up..
not to mention it seems as though because of this recent wave of new, good heads
old heads are startin to take notice. - which is always a good thing.
Me personally, Im gonna make it a point to defend this title for a minute
so nggz start bein like "damn, i need to knock this mufucka out"...

Butler vs. Imperial
This could be a very nice battle.
If both drop like they did last week, it'd be the best battle in awhile.
But don't getcha hopes up, i'm sure someone will rush.
Butler has alot to prove this week tho.
Since he won the title by a no show against John Hensley.
Imperial on the other hand has a chance to add to his title history.
This could be the 3rd time Imperial has had the title, if he wins.
My prediction is Imperial taking it by 2 votes.
It's gonna be real close tho.. if both actually try.

Pharaohe Def vs. Daedal
I've only peeped Daedal a few times.
& from what i've seen he has some stretched lines.
Most of his punches are pretty basic too.
So iono, maybe he'll do good this week.
Pharaohe Def is pretty good tho.

Both just signed back in for this week.
& both are pretty good, so this should be a nice battle.
It's hard to make a prediction, but i'ma say ClasSick by a hair.

This is a rematch from Week 8.
H.I.v. had a decent verse with some lines directed at Ribo's pic.
Ribo had a pretty good verse too, with some witty concepts.
That battle ended in Ribonuclease winning.
& i don't really see this battle being any different.
If both try this could be a nice rematch.

David Lama is allah, so he can drop a good verse too.
