RULES & REGULATIONS

[01] - The deadline for verses is Friday @ 11:59pm PST.
[02] – There are NO EXTENSIONS during the tourney.
[03] - The deadline for voting is Sunday @ 9:59pm PST.

VOTING
[04] - You must post at least 5 valid voting links within your match.
[05] - Within those 5 links, you must be sure to vote on both the Championship and Contender matches.
[06] - Votes must be at least 2 full lines of feedback per competitor followed by the competitor's name in which you choose to vote for.
[07] - Voting a tie result is deemed a failure to vote.
[08] - Voting links must be posted in your battle thread with the Champ and Contender matches labeled clearly.
[09] - Votes changed after 1 hour of posting will be deemed a failure to vote.
[10] - Voting is open to current participants, past champions, and active RBL moderators ONLY.

VERSES
[11] - All verses are to remain within the limits of 8 to 40 lines. Any breach of line limit must be agreed upon by both competitors prior to a verse being posted. Failure to comply will result in an automatic forfeit by all failing parties.
[12] - An agreement of a line limit will serve as the maximum allowed; competitors are allowed to post under an agreed limit, but never over. An agreement is not required. Upon failure to agree to a line limit, the second competitor is thereby required to meet the limit set by the first competitor to post.
[13] - You must not edit your verse once your opponent has posted, who in turn must not edit their verse after the first vote is cast.

overall: ski had a pretty good verse the ones i quoted made me laugh and stuck decent enuff... the call it day/24 line was pretty fresh tho.... n the tacky made me giggle enuff.... krim your verse was ok.. u were TOO direct w/ ya wording which makes it predictable... if ur more DIRECT but INDIRECT at the same time u got some nice concepts u could do some damage with.. newayz vote - ski

Hmm, Ski Mask Was A Simple But Had A Lot Of Nice Lines Including The "24", "Misspell" And "PD" Lines.
Kriminal Seemed To Focus On Flipping Everything That Was Said And Got Some Nice Lines Together Himself

I Gave Kriminal 3 1/2 Points/Punches (The Bus Driver Pun Was So So)
And Ski Masks Got 4 Points; For 6 Half Punches And 2 For Consistency

This battle consisted a lot more direct statements than punchlines but most were effective, but i have to give ski mask the upperhand on those because it was more hard hitting. Then again i also give the punchlines to ski mask as well with better execution (ex. Kriminal in the pen from ski compared to Kriminal's pen line). Nice read from both tho.

Ski mask had some great punches come through here... The storage war line, the 16 Bars line, 24 and PD line was illy really was just digging ski mask all the way trough with his verse ^^he had no lackluster approach and ^^he really came swinging. Kriminal you started off strong some ok punches for someone who couldn't really dig anything up on him... Wish you had worded the masks for face line, and the worry bout ski-masks was a nice flip. The uppercut line was ok-USB and the Krim and mask could have went more harder

Ski had a good verse here. 24/tacky lines were both dope and out of the two kriminal/pen punches, his was superoir. Didnt come as hard as I've seen from him but he had a solid overall verse.

Kriminal had really good concepts and seemed used to battling. Unfortunately wording lessened the impact of some his his punchlines and took away from what could've been a much better verse.

Overall this was on the better end of the battles I've seen so far as far as the talent level of both opponents. However, I'mgoin with Ski on this one.

Good structure and flow from Ski Mask, liked the call it a day, not worth a 24. Didn't get the storage wars one, had to look it up. Kriminal had good structure and flow as well and I think the bus driver uppercut line was slept on, maybe people hadn't seen that story in the news. Overall I think Ski Mask edged it by being more consistent with his wordplay.
