OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS
DEADLINES
The deadline for verses is Friday @ 11:59pm EST.
The deadline for extensions is 24 hours ONLY, making it Saturday @ 11:59pm EST.
The deadline for voting is Sunday @ 11:59pm EST.
VOTING
[04] - You must post at least 5 valid voting links within your match.
[05] - Within those 5 links, you must be sure to vote on both the Championship and Contender matches.
[06] - Votes must be at least 2 full lines of feedback per competitor followed by the competitor's name in which you choose to vote for.
[07] - Voting a tie result is deemed a failure to vote.
[08] - Voting links must be posted in your battle thread with the Champ and Contender matches labeled clearly.
[09] - Votes changed after 1 hour of posting will be deemed a failure to vote.
[10] - Voting is open to current participants, past champions, and active RBL moderators ONLY.
VERSES
[11] - All verses are to remain within the limits of 8 to 30 lines. Contender/Champion match verses are to remain within the limits of 8 to 40 lines. Any breach of line limit must be agreed upon by both competitors prior to a verse being posted. Failure to comply will result in an automatic forfeit by all failing parties.
[12] - The second competitor must match or post less than the first competitor, but in no case can the second competitor exceed the first competitor.
[13] - You must not edit your verse once your opponent has posted, who in turn must not edit their verse after the first vote is cast.

^This could have been solid with the "short stop" wordplay.. but it was flipped poorly.
vote: Iglos.. he had the better verse, fell off at points but atleast had decent material. coil didnt really throw any punches & most off his lines were streched.

haha luckily there's really no vet in the rbl, or i think u'd catch some shit for using a "the feet line", lol. it's one of those cliche'd wordplay but i like the way u framed it here. pretty cool closer.
This was a pretty even battle as both admitted to keyed verses. Ultimately it was wit vs flow. Iglos was more creative with his punches whereas coil had the idea, but just couldn't execute it right (via wordings). However coil had a very nice flow to his verse, something often overlooked in text battles at the present moment. But his Iglos acronym thing was pretty nice. Nontheless, my vote goes to Iglos for a slightly better verse and more entertaining verse.

i wasnt really feeling either verse to be honest with you. iglos had some rhyming issues with the first line, (jaw and cor), plus some of his concepts didnt make sense to me. i didnt really get the fat joe making first base one. the blockbuster vs net flix line was a nice concept poorly executed. the only line i really felt was the one i quote. Coil, i understand this was a key, but the verse you faced was easily beatable in my opinion. work on line lenght (i tend to have the same problem), shorten them up. either way, i had iglos taking it for having one quoteworthy line.

Really I was just digging his style a lot more than coils. Coil had some of the longest bars that i have read in a long time. the style just made it so that some of the good punches that you had got overworded and lost its luster. Iglos had a decent one with the netflix, but the last four bars seemed a lot like filler. Vote iglos in a not so close battle that couldnt have gone either way.
