OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS



DEADLINES

The deadline for verses is Friday @ 11:59pm EST.
The deadline for extensions is 24 hours ONLY, making it Saturday @ 11:59pm EST.
The deadline for voting is Sunday @ 11:59pm EST.

VOTING

[04] - You must post at least 5 valid voting links within your match.
[05] - Within those 5 links, you must be sure to vote on both the Championship and Contender matches.
[06] - Votes must be at least 2 full lines of feedback per competitor followed by the competitor's name in which you choose to vote for.
[07] - Voting a tie result is deemed a failure to vote.
[08] - Voting links must be posted in your battle thread with the Champ and Contender matches labeled clearly.
[09] - Votes changed after 1 hour of posting will be deemed a failure to vote.
[10] - Voting is open to current participants, past champions, and active RBL moderators ONLY.

VERSES

[11] - All verses are to remain within the limits of 8 to 30 lines. Contender/Champion match verses are to remain within the limits of 8 to 40 lines. Any breach of line limit must be agreed upon by both competitors prior to a verse being posted. Failure to comply will result in an automatic forfeit by all failing parties.
[12] - The second competitor must match or post less than the first competitor, but in no case can the second competitor exceed the first competitor.
[13] - You must not edit your verse once your opponent has posted, who in turn must not edit their verse after the first vote is cast.

guywithanaxe had some nice punches, but sound killed his verse. most of his lines were quoteable. the capcity line was pretty good. one about leaving Rome in peices, i didnt get at all. idunno. but Sound dropped some heat on dude.

I got sound winnin this, guy came coo too, but he didnt do enough to pull the win. I though you had some good lines, like this one:

Truth is You ARE a kid, and this Guy’s face is harrier,
I’ll deny Einstein as this Sound fails to break the barrier!

and then you had some weaker ones like the disney show line, good wording and all, but not hard hitting.

I felt sound was more direct and his punches carried a harder sting IMO, I liked these:

^this was all solid.. pretty nice ish

This one was one sided in my eyes.. sound had consistant verse, with good punches & personals.. that guyana wordplay was a bit forced but creative none the less. guy came alright but wasnt on the same level as sound.

First of all, You don't have to cuss in the freestyle. You can both be a little more creative and clean with your lyricism, Real talk. Imagine if you were on the streets doing this and there are little children around or your grandmother was around. But because of the craft presented, Sound got this one cause of the closing and better punchline. But both of you can improve. That's my vote.
