WELCOME to Round 1 of the Text Wars I text tournament. Before posting or throwing up a verse, please read the following rules of combat:

CHECK INS are not mandatory, but are welcome.

VERSES are due FRIDAY, April 28th, 2007.

- Every battler must vote on 3 battles and provide links in this battle thread.
- Every verse must be at least 14-20 lines.
- NO EXTENSIONS will be allowed unless a case of emergency.
- Battlers may up thread twice.
- No feeding, biting, or recycling.
- No picture battles UNLESS both competitors agree.
- No editing after opponent puts up verse.
