What Flame Yonder Beckons?


where yonder flame grows
smoke of yester woes

am i one on one with a cause?
or one for all and for a cause?
if love is perpetual life
lost ambition was my own self
perpendicularity death

here there is wisdom left behind
burn where as i return to scar
face this uncertain destiny
reclaim the night's faith with this pain
counting on bounty of flame

there is even pride deep inside
the cruelest of dueling hearts
on this planet i have learned that
just not forgetting is enough
of all but how to give it at all

and although i once shamelessly
opened the sky's diary of
literally literature
fallen martyrs and lifting stars
recited in open water

on roads are we ever detoured?
in this life is struggle devoured?
if we falter on the width of
memory and aspiration
i am with but a flame of life

where yonder beckons
beacon of wonder

i forge forever, to forfeit forthright, or fight forgotten

Liked the word play in this piece man.

^That was my favorite stanza there. I got confused on some of the parts, but nonetheless I enjoyed the read.

I really didnt understand this pieces....like most of ure pieces...(but thas cause i'm slow...but anyway....i read it despie me being able to fully understand it...and never the less....I did enjoy the imagery...i think out of all the poets on the realm...u display the best imagery.....good read
