When will we stop...
Cause you're over there...
and I'm over here.
So close yet so far apart.
You're confusing me!
I'm probably confusing you too.
We both know what we're feeling
Yet this goes on and on.

It's Exhausting!
One day I'm happy the next I'm down in the dumps
I just can't figure you out.
Like a circle we keep going round and round.
When will this cease.
You can't tell me the truth
and my lips remain sealed.
But it's in our actions, each word yet it's a secret to the ear.
Has silence ever been so loud?

We just have to exist in this world
So close yet so far apart.
With me staring at you
and you staring at me...
And knowing yet...not knowing at all.

This is my past
And it seems we were not destined to be
I will always know there's always that place for me
I'm so far away yet so close to your heart.
The chapter's done
And the author raises her pen again

Chapter 2
Don't forget about me
Cause I can't forget about you
So when we're simply just far apart
Don't forget about me
Cause I can't forget about you.
Though I've grown and moved on
I tell you this
You wouldn't forget about me
I wouldn't forget about you
Not tomorrow or in days to come
This is my final statement
My ode...to what was me and you

i really liked that cuz it was just like the perfect oxymoron

man i know somethin about clingin to relationships though
and it sucks
memories will always remain but sometimes its just time to move on
and it takes a very long time,very long duration

thanks for the replies.... yep it suxs just when you think you're over it ....something messes it up again and you're back trying to sort out messed up emotions. but then of course when it's real u never reallly do just stop you just move on... so close to the end yet it's just beginning.

I really enjoyed this piece....it reminded me of alot of pieces i use to write to this one guy that i went thru the same situation with for 6 yrs, eventually u gotta let go and never return there again...it's hard....but it has to be done!
