how should we speak?

Hello all, I haven't been on here for more than a year. I've been reading some poems on here and it inspired me to write so here is my first poem of the year.

Its bright and confusion hits my mind
lost to be found, so I wait and past time
breathing deep hoping to surpass the moment of bliss
when pictures of my love appear like pictures I missed
smiles of sadness appears on her face
wanting more she gives me this
stuck without words to say, quietly I lay
watching my life go by without reasons to pray
my feelings she plays like a blank video
no directions for focus, only a handful of vast emotions
every second added on, and the chemistry changes
spreading apart like a cut in the branch of and old tree
nothing matters to millions, but between us its quietly painful
dried leaves of the seasons without moisture our world dies
without sunlight the darkness overwhelmes
how should we speak?

Welcome back to the realm man. Don't think I remember seeing any of your work before, but I'm hoping you can stick around I could see more. Was really feeling this piece. I guess because I'm kinda going through this same situation myself....in a way.

"nothing matters to millions, but between us its quietly painful"

^One of the best lines I've seen here in the realm this year. Nice poem.

That line Soul mentioned was the highlight of the piece for me as well.
This seems a bit like a venting piece...just sourta a thought that slowly builds up and takes on a life of its on. It was a nice read. Thank you.

This was a very nice piece

"without sunlight the darkness overwhelmes"

this line reminds me of something a friend of mine used to say, just a little turned around:"darkness exsists soley to remind u that the sun will shine again"

Definetly a nice drop...I've felt like this on numerous occasions...even this morning being one of them....so this is definetly understood and felt!
