It's not bad. I think at points it kinda rhymes too much, ya know. I'ma fan of rhyme too though. I had to learn that rhyming the last word is an art you can't take the simple path like look/took and you gotta break up the vowel sounds sometimes. That just increases the flow.

Overall, I liked the story in your poem, do ya art.
