THis bottle of beast is breaking me.. breaking me down
It screams my name late at night... knowing damn well I'm fast asleep

I will make a valiant attempt but no promises... yeah you've heard that before

Maybe, just maybe I don't want this anymore...no connections, no weight on my already weak shoulders

we were supposed to BE... be together forever
regardless of the warning of the severe weather
Me telling you everytime at the climax of fighting.."I'm not perfect"
In the midst of the FIGHT... I,i,i, was unsure... and my knees buckled... lost purpose

My dad and my mom told me it would go down like this.. just when I thought I had things figured out
Now I'm growing accustomed to being without

Honey I don't like this feeling... this feeling that consumes me... fills me with anxiety and uncertainty...

Maybe, just maybe we need to see other people

Why are you crying boo... for once in my life I feel a greater level of certainty, than I do uncertainty...

All I'm saying is I'm gonna give it a try

this was pretty nice for a key...i think what i like most about this piece is how the whole situation was flipped and how a hint of selfishness was shown (at least to me) when u(or person in the poem) had bettered themselves per se and the other person didn't really care cuz the pressure was reverted back to them. I also like the way this read-well flowing

Did you borrow the "bottle of beast" metaphor from dashboard confessional? Haha i'm j/k. Really nice for a keystyle, though someone already mentioned that. The main reason I enjoyed this is probably because I've been (recently) in a situation like this, and came out of it the better. So whether this was written about you or someone else, I hope they find help with it.
