nice little piece. I have struggled through that along with meth (which isn't even comparable its such nasty stuff) Good metaphores and expression towards that feeling of being trapped.

Ive built up a tolerance to cocaine but not pollen
it seems the standards of evolution are lacking in my bones
as a child I built forts to hide in
now this casual adult hides behind brand name cloths.

^wrote this a while back to capture this concept that we are all on drugs its just that some are socially accepted. Me and you and our cocaine habit is not, but a few cups of coffee every morning is. Or how about some ridalin. Did I just hear someone is handing out free anti depressants. Oh yummy. Or how about we go for a carton of icecream, just because we can. Im a dopemine man.

so yea man.. even fucking.. even food.. its all the same. It releases the reward chemical in your brain = dopamine. And when happens when you snort a line. Dopemine. So whats the difference? Our way is easier. Faster. and requires no effort. Hey sounds like pussys who take anti depressants instead of saying " i can work through this"

yea yea, be are all drug addicts. Nice little drop man. STay up and hit up a few other poets to return the love.

thanks for the love on this... and it's funny- though i know there are many other people who feel this same type of problem, there is something in me that makes it seem as though i am alone

dang man, stuff sounds like my dad when he was young and lost. All throughout the 60's and 80's it was all about being free, that is until they had me. Well, anyway not gonna go there lol. I think it was last week my dad was talking to my aunt about depression and how to handle it, and I agree with Ashes. And did you say Eric Clapton?!? this was a cool piece man.

This is real nice not really deep to me but I feel your emotion,

This was a pretty nice piece. I use to dabble in drugs for about two years or so. Herion was my love though. Just seems like at the time that was the only thing that could make any pain go away. I'm just glad I had the strength to rid that shit out of my system. As do you.
