This is really just a mumble jumble of thoughts put together, its how i feel its my opinion so I want all the feed back the good and bad, i might argue back but like i said its my opinion...Enjoy

Realize This

Why do some black people constantly complain about our status in life
But yet some of us subject ourselves to the stereotype
“Those ³³³³³³³ are ghetto and poor, all they do is rob and do drugs” I heard a white man say
But yet some of us need to sit down and realize this
We have black people who do dumb shit
Like last weekend around the corner this black man stabbed his stepdaughter and then set the house on fire to cover it up
See it’s the black people like that, that do dumb shit and then get upset because we are considered the “problems” of our nation
I know that the law may be unfair
White man always trying to hold a black person down
But we can’t let them get the best of us
I’m not trying to follow the path they try to set for us
I’m a bad follower
But I’m a good as leader
I’m not trying to set us up for destruction
Helping black people succeed in this world is my goal, my dream
But you gotta be willing to do the same
Stop living routine
Reach for the stars
You only live once, so why not live it to the fullest
Make whatever you do count
Realize this
You will only be what people tell you, you are
Unless you step up to the plate and call ‘em out
Realize that
We are somebody and that we were a big part of bringing the world to what it is today
Realize this
They may have deprived our ancestor’s of their hope
But that only makes it better for us
Because they cant take our faith.

This was a decent piece. I didn't like the beginning part of it though. Seem to me you was doing too much generalizing(sp). Just the other day some white man killed his wife, his kids and then himself. Everybody does crazy shit. Doesn't make a difference as to what color you are.

But I feel you where you're coming from. There's a lot of folk out here in the streets that do nothing but point the finger instead of trying to get out of the situation their in. Blaming other people for your problems isn't going to get you anywhere in life. Keep it up
