The nightmares return
Each night i relive my hell
I enter the dark abyss of my past

they think i am mad
they believe i am crazy
but they were not there

they dont know
the images flash by
the pain, the agony
the screams of the fallen

my freinds are gone
only i remain

they said it would be glorius
and that we would live on forever in the memories of all
but now there is just despair, anger
my tortured mind cannot take it any more

i cannot go on
i will be with them again soon
with this, it ends

This was a very dark piece. Not really a big fan of suicide poems unless it's coming from me(yes I know, selfish lol). I can relate to the part about the nightmares though. Not wanting to explain them to people because they wouldnt understand and think you're crazy. Hard to deal with. Decent piece.
