Thanx UFO for putting me on point to this site I hope every one enjoys my first post

God was the first spoken Poet
and he made man in his own image
After the music subsides
Silence spreads like nite
The feature Poets been plugged in2 an outlet
An Outlet of inspirational sensational beyond cosmic
Pilot in the cockpit high flying rhyming
Thats ready to reach inside the glove compartment of your chest
Search through its residing objects
Til it finds your holy ghost light switch
Signified by a high pitched AMEN
Bouncing off of 45 degree right corners
Till echos are dancing on the ear drums of every listener
Parishoners positioned with every piston pumping word injection
through solid body suspension
least I mention the feeling that God leaves
like Ice man just surfed your spine
Tension released as the poets preach about the cons and cons of sleeping with the beast
It takes devine intervention to formulate a human being poised with such verbal perfection
Carving C-sections in between the closed pages of truth
The Good Poets Poetry Book
With its highlighted red letters
Gathered to take mortality to immortality in a few words
Drippin morning dew on the many I's and U's that occupy these pews
All eyes set on the man behind the mic
Setting fire to ears
Inducing tears
Calming fears
Chronicaling years
And just plain captivating the mind of all that hear

Where all bow down in invisible trust to the everlasting crown

this was just............hot

I dont know man.....I know you said you did spoken word but this one really hit me hard....like I was sitting in the crowd hearing you flip the script.....just spitting lava truth......man oh man

^right from the start you had me captivated....your flow is flawless....and so graceful off the tounge.....nothing sounded force nothing!...and thats hard to pull off....."Silence spreads like nite"....haha.....no doubt.....right away this reminded me off all the open mic poetry readings I've been too.....it really is quite a rush.....and yeah you cant help but feel the words connect to your spirit....gets deep

MY FAVORITE LINE THAT REALLY MADE ME SAY "OH SNAP" OUT LOUD

^that was fire right there......I'm blessed and I'm found I never even consider screaming that loud?....but it makes perfect sense looking back on where I've been and how blessed I am.....thank you for this

Damn man, this is a beautiful work. At first I thought it was going to be some boring religious rant but then once I got into it I became impressed with the flow, the content, the descriptions. Very well written. Good stuff man.

Thanx yall that was what i was trying to accomlish something that would express the feeling of a inner church holy ghost awakening sermon but at the same time letting people adjust themselves into the poem not feeling pressured into it Church it can be a beautiful thing if you let it be
